Things have certainly changed. PS3 has been dominating the 360 for a long while now, and it will certainly get more killer exclusives in the comming years.
MS is already third in Japan and Europe..and some bots are comming in and say they don't matter.
7.9 metascore average? Even I think that is a bit too harsh. Sigma for the ps3 is pretty fun, so I expect ng4 for the 360 should at least get a decent score. Well, may be sigma is a better game overall.
Just stop..even many of the 360 fanboys here admit that gta4 is a boring game.
Given that mgs4 is a ps3 exclusive and that some review sites are angry that the 360 is not getting mgs4, it may not get a higher score than gta 4 overall...but there's no doubt that it is a much better game.

All in all the game is quite boring after some time, and although I have finished the game at 60 something percent I wouldn't ever touch it again...
What's with the bots claiming that gta4 got higher score? Are they so desperate that they have to brag about a multiplatform game, which happnes to be overated?
No GTA4? GTA4 is seriously overated..and this game will get a metascore higher than gta4. From the review of serveral reviewers, you can tell that they are amazed by the jaw-dropping storyline and gameplay of mgs4.
Gta4 should seriously get a 8 in average. I finished the game last week and I wouldn't touch it again. Mgs4 however is different. It is going to get more review scores it deserves - a 10.

Mgs4 is one of those games that is not overated. While 9.9 is a good score, mgs4 still receives lower score than gta4, which is overated.
Not that I am unhappy about the score, but mgs4 should get a 10 like gta4 did from ign given that it is a much better game.
I remembered in the office of 1up the phrase "Kojima eat a d1ck" was written on one of the employee's desk. Don't know if anyone can still find the photo but that is pretty evident that they are are angry toward Kojima for not porting the game to the 360.
If 1up gives anything less than a 9, expect a riot.

We are not bitter, but it's just trash compared to mgs4. Just like haze is a crap game, spinter cell 5 will suffer the same fate.
And don't tell me that it can't be run on the ps3, since it is inferior to mgs4 in every possible way.
XD Exactly...what's the use of a blu-ray drive if it can't be used to play games. I think MS has made a big mistake of incoporating blu-ray drive into their 360.
