I think MS understands human psychology very well. Announcing a mutiplatform game like metal gear solid rising gives people the false impression that MS has won the show, and make them less focused on other games and exclusives.
They did it last year with ff 13 and did it again this year with rising. Sony clearly has more exciting games to show, but again people tend to pay attention to surprises.
God 1 and 2 have a lot of gore but they are not as explicit as the one here.

Check you eyes as Alan Wake doesn't look better. Heck, even LP2 looks better than Alan Wake. The graphic is a huge disappointment that's for sure; let's hope the gameplay can save it from being a flop?

It's bascially the same game really. I like the first one and play it with friends from time to time, but the sequel is basically the same thing over again.
We only say Mgs4 will never hit 360 which is true. Given how ambitious Kojima is, it's safe to say that we will never see mgs 5 on the 360 as well.
Mgs rising is a spinoff, as Kojima put it. Not downplaying the game, but it IS a spinoff that doesn't involve sneaking and snakes.
so air1 is saying that we will get a splinter cell Sigma down the line.
By the way, anyone thinks Alan Wake looks kinda meh? I thought it's going to the one of the greatest looking games due to the hype but turns out it looks just "good".
