Not sure who s this N4G biased person people keep talking about. Seems to me everyone can have their words and agree or disagree how they wish just like you and me. I do agree that on the internet the gaming community seems to be appalling but its up to all of us to improve it and also trying to have better content/articles
Im not sure its the type of game you can enjoy just 'having a go' at it. You need to invest more time and take time to learn and enjoy it as its not straigthforward rewarding like waves of enemies just to shoot at for example.
Also first time I played it I wasnt particularly impressed with the graphics and after a while its the attention to details that made me really enjoy this seemingly grim world.
Just my 2 cents I think GG is not understood by most people as to what it stands for and the name itself is not very telling and 'Gate' not a very welcoming term so to speak.
The media tell them its about *** and people have no reason to question it without any hint.
If at least the name would be telling like 'GamersVsMediaLies' or some proper informative label.
I know teenagers who posted articles bashing GG and of course not questioning anything.
Why? I think it's great if it takes me ages to finish it or even better never really 'finish' it and get immersed in this universe whenever I fancy it

If the game is great Im fine with it lasting 'forever' and no pressure to finish it.
I ll be playing this game all year and coming back to it regularly, same for a few other games.
Im sure you could put it in ways that dont hurt any feeling but I must admit theres quite some truth in what you said.
Nevertheless gamers want to play on any consoles they feel good to play with and/or for different games of their choice and thats fine
