@Segata
I didn't say they are fanboy. Are you saying they arent biased and but on the contrary open minded and not deriding, mocking etc? I didn't think so.
I do think they clearly favour some platforms over others but that's not the point of my first comment.
Flahback 2016, people say we won't see the game for eons. Possibly vaporware.
You got to give credit where it's due and acknowledge it's been a surprisingly smooth development. A game is a game, like it or not is personal thing.
I dont know why some people still say they arent biased. Just need to watch their reaction to PlayStation E2016 conference to understand.
They only liked GOW haha
@shaggy2303
That's because DS is not a 4 and is not a 10 either. It's not a 8 or a 7 either. People obsessed with score numbers are just creating their own nightmare and making those sites happy.

I mean it could be relevant if it was about sales but the author is trying to assume things about the game he doesn't know that are demonstrated and explained in the reviews one way or another depending on opinions.. What's the point?
Well video games arent always just about being fun (unless you talk about Nintendo games maybe?) Never have been. Sometimes it's more about escaping into an immersive experience or just keeping you wanting to find out what happens next.
They arent polarizing though, are they?
I'm not aware of the situation but are you saying a reviewer gave up doing his job and bragged about it? I'm not surprised either mind you. I think a lot of reviewers don't explore what games have to offer and post half harsed reviews.
I think everyone is missing the point that you can see it from different perspectives because they are different things. The reality is selling hardware is different from selling software different from selling services. The companies and the press will put forwards what suits their interests best.
As to which company makes the most money in gaming business is another debate different from being 'successful' as far as console generation is concerned.
That's a false assumption many have I think.
Both consoles were doing great in the US even if xb1 was more expensive with a weaker hardware. Things slowly turned in ps4 favour in the long term even after price cuts, kinectless, hardware revisions etc etc.
Worldwide has always been PlayStation because happy customers have nothing to do with 'loyalty'
If I may
I'm enjoying and trying to get something out of everyone comments including yours since you seem to have good knowledge on the topic.
You telling questioning these guys of being the same person and calling a friendly 'give it time' to be similar of saying shut up.... I'm sorry your the one being WAY too defensive here 🤷♂️
I think you present these in a simplified manner that may not be accurate. First, of course is a matter of opinion and what you trust and consider great games years before they release can also be seen as fatigued franchises. The most important I think is the way the companies and the press understand (or pretend to understand) what success means is getting blurry with services, hardware, software etc.
All in all we ll see a lot of misinformation, manipulation and false data repre...
Yes. The ps5 pro 'rumour' comes from one Japanese journalist who was streaming a game on youtube and while playing he said Sony will launch a pro and a ps5 at the same time. of course the English translation made the rumour worse.
While I think its possible there may be two models at launch, like more ssd space etc, that's not really what a pro is.
'The PS5 Pro has been rumored to be released alongside the PS5, but this raises questions..'
No, silly made up rumours don't raise any questions.
Your mistaken though unless you meant the reveals, not the launch.
2016 was objectively better when you disregard fanaticism for one or another particular franchise.
This is a rumour based on a tweet from JS they call a 'report'.
This is the exact quote : 'it was originally planned for the first half of the year - not anymore' that what JS based his opinion from.
Second even assuming it's true, there was no GOT definitive launch date. What doesn't exist can't be pushed back. From a consumer and gamers perspective, it's just journalists blowing dust with one another's fans where there was nothing to beg...
They were already hiring for a new project when Days Gone wasnt even released. Days Gone defo will have a sequel but maybe another project first.
Hermen Hulst took over WWS and Yoshida overseeing indies.
Spin it the way you want but are you saying you preferred Layden at WWS and the narrative that PlayStation doesn't care about Indies anymore?
Most people can see its great
