Glad to see the king back on his throne.
This little PS+ card is screwing this bundle for international orders.
Xbox could have a very nice console for 1984 :D
Something good is happening to EA lately.
And yet they call us "filthy peasantry"...
Be especially vigilant about 'cloud computing' - a concept that is designed to leave the consumer with empty hands - no hardware and software at all!
A Microsoft employee said in and interview with Adam Sessler that maybe the Xbox One is the last console you need to buy - which hints that this is exactly the future they're planning, where your only option is paying money for a temporary and limited access to your games.
Cloud computing is a conven...
I'd like it traditional and minimalistic. And not glossy! Gloss looks good out of the box, but it becomes a dust and fingerprint magnet very quickly.
Yeah, let's just totally abandon this 8 million players game and concentrate on that new MMO, that may not even take off.
There is something special in WoW. True, it's less than before, but that could be restored with some minor tweaks. I feel very attached to this world since Warcraft 3 and I'll never stop playing this game from time to time.
It's sad some people use this game only as a material for masturbation. Most of the mods I see are boobs and asses. And it's a shame, because there are some really nice mods that aren't made by horny teens, but by real artists that understand the atmosphere of Skyrim, respect it, and enhance it appropriately.
Why isn't the flame moving?
*Checks calendar* *Says 2013*
Why isn't the flame moving?!
It's losing even to this generation.
Consoles almost always have a different architecture each gen, and the lack of backward compatibility is an unfortunate side effect of that. Believe me, if Sony could easily add backward compatibility to the PS4 (and PS3) they would gladly do it. PC, on the other hand, has the same Windows and the same x86 architecture since 95, so backward compatibility is a non-brainer. And yet, sometimes you have to struggle to run old games.
Steam, on the other hand, is a completely artif...
Steam? That almost-always-online service that requires an intrusive third party client to be installed on your computer and reserve itself the right to confiscate everything you bought? No thanks.
I had to move to consoles a yea ago because I realized that Steam-free gaming on the PC is not possible anymore - even physical disks are encrypted with Steam. Even worse, when game publishers and Microsoft realized how easily PC gamers betrayed all their principles for cheaper pric...
It's not about the inconvenience of plugging a cable from your console to your router. The question is 'why?'.
If I buy a piece of hardware and a piece of software I want to use them whenever I want without begging for permission every time.
Of course this is the publisher's dream - a complete and ultimate control over everything the consumer has now, leaving him with empty hands. This is a future when a consumer can't even dare to dream about owning a technology that is common and accessible now. This is not a step forward, it's a scary totalitarian regime that no sane gamer will agree to.
We're already being brain-washed with the same mantra: "It's the inevitable future. Embrace it or g...
I'll go with Kratos. I hated him before I bought a PS3 a year ago and played the GoW series. Then I learned to look at him differently.
I agree. As much as I like God of War, this is clearly one game too much. We already had a brilliant trilogy and two prequels, and this game kind of feel redundant, especially after the most definitive ending of GoW3.

5 years is the sweet spot for me. Plus another 5 years of support for the older console.
I prefer slightly lesser graphics to the always-online drm of cloud computing. If all this cloud tech means that the game stops working when the cloud servers are shut down (or dedicated to another game) I'll pass.
