and first they should make sure this game doesn't launch like their previous games, BF4 is still my most annoying gaming experience of the last few years
Now I'm glad I didn't buy it, almost did. Don't support this BS!
Gameplay-wise it's: 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1
Story-wise I'd say: 3 > 1 > 4 > 2 > 5
5 could've ranked much higher if the last chapter wouldn't have been cut out, such a shame :/
Old news though, this was discussed a few months ago.
I think it's finally time to reveal some big projects, many first party studios still have to show off what they were working on during the last few years. Paris Games Week is only 10 days away now and I really think it will be worth the wait.
And usually, PS4 has some kind of graphical advantages in these cases. I for one will probably play it on PC, until now it was always the best platform for these kind of games.
I trust Bethesda more than Ubisoft or EA these days. Also for different reasons, I trust Fallout more than other Bethesda games.
Seriously?
Apart from the fact the answer is within the article and that only one of the two makes sense, there are really more important things in a Fallout game.
Even Fallout 3 has probably five times as much unique content as Battlefront will have with season passes included but I wouldn't say that's the main point. Star Wars fans were hoping for BF3 to happen but EA simply couldn't resist cashing in on this so heavily that I'm not sure whether I still want to support it. We don't even know yet how stable the game will run at launch and how worthwhile the content on disc actually is.
A few days ago I saw that the Season Pass has already 30 5-star ratings on PSN and the only thing I could think of was "who can be so stupid?"
I fully agree with Joe on this one, we're hurting the future of this industry by supporting these kind of practices.
Wow people here downplaying the removal of split screen is the saddest thing I've seen from gaming this year. Guess it's the loser demographic that doesn't have any friends or wives or kids to play with.
Flawless reasoning on your part, but what if the people working on remasters could develop something else instead?
I don't even see how the mentioned points are good things in any way. Their audience is pretty much the lowest common denominator who doesn't get tired of dudebro run'n'gun and despite so many mediocre entries, they still manage to lure in a lot of people every year, including me sometimes. However I realized that the last 3 CoD purchases I made where wasted money and Black Ops 3 is far from changing my mind at this point... the open beta actually did more harm than good, I ca...
I hope so, time to move on guys. I couldn't even come up with a handful of remasters I would want to play.
Did you read the preview? Author called himself an "Uncharted veteran" and complained that the game felt so familiar, that's as ridiculous as it gets.
I just hope they do the gameplay but stay out of story, character creation and world design. Platinum has some strengths but not everything they do is awesome.
I grew old too but I'm still playing mostly open world RPG's like Skyrim, The Witcher, Fallout or the Souls series. Time is definitely a huge issue but I don't have a problem with requiring 3 weeks to finish a game. That's still a better gaming experience than bothering with a short game I don't really enjoy.
It's not cool to mock it at all. It's a great device, especially for travelling, and Remote Play is actually an incredible feature. When Transistor came out I regularly played it through the wifi at work (during lunch break of course), how's that "reducing"?
IGN is just as immature and unprofessional as every other gaming website these days, it's all about the clicks.
Judging by his agrees some people seem to care but to me, a game is a game. And a good indie game (Rocket League, Journey, Binding of Isaac, etc) is still better than a mediocre AAA title.
