What Bethesda did was really dumb, these people just try to fix it.
It's hella fun, I don't waste any time with inventory management or fast travelling just to sell my stuff and got much more time for the actual game. For me this is pretty much essential but I understand that some find it "cheating".
Huh?
I'm 25 hours in and wouldn't call it unfinished or broken at all. Slightly buggy yes, but I have yet to encounter any serious problems... it's probably the best optimized Bethesda game of the last few years and I'm happy that they finally released a stable open world title. It's far from perfect but I wouldn't deduct many points for technical issues... the simplified character development & dialogue system however would make me give it a 9/10.
These big publishers have become the worst, you would think that they have the money to bring this industry forward and instead they copy successful franchises just to have their own cash cow. Then they turn it into an annual series with an increasing amount of microtransactions and DLC every year. probably by cutting content during development. Amazing what we've come to...
Doesn't mean you can talk about a sequel when you've delivered a game with lacking content and overpriced season pass. I certainly won't celebrate the announcement of a sequel at this point.
Well it would get better reviews if they included more content instead of charging for a freaking season pass before launch. I think it's ridiculous to talk about a sequel already, makes me want to cancel my preorder.

One of the main reason I play these games on PC.
Never heard PewDiePie huh?
I don't think this story will have any effect on how anyone plays his games as it's pretty much an isolated issue.
"show me the options on my DS4 to calibrate the dead zones on my triggers. Or how I can specifically control the analog sticks and their sensitivity along the full spectrum of movement."
lol why would I, couldn't care less about this stuff and most importantly, would not pay additional 90$ to have it. You must have been pretty annoyed by your regular Xbox controller to be this excited and praiseful for an overpriced piece of plastic.
If any game this year deserved success, it's this one. Glad that it's selling well, really hope they continue making these games as only a few other developers in this industry can match this level of quality.
And all of this without any kind of microtransactions, yayyy.
Of course the usual Xboys had to comment here as well as complaining about their disagrees. Too bad that actual PS4 users will not pay 150 bucks for an uncomfortable piece of "elitism", the DS4 is fine enough.
Great news, Ys & JRPG's are always welcome.
It's still a masterpiece despite it's technical issues. Can't agree with "first of this console generation" though, that was Bloodborne.
It runs poorly on both consoles, my GTX780 (which is not that much superior to both consoles) easily gets 110fps at better visuals. I'm really glad I chose the PC version, not even considering the probably better mod support.
Same here but you'll never know when you need it :S
My "worst product to ever spend money on" actually was an iPhone 5. iOS is so much worse than Android that I will never, ever pay for an overpriced Apple product again.
@Article: I knew it was Polygon just by reading the title, no other outlet in this industry could be as hipster hyperbolic as these morons.
^No matter how many or which games are compatible, pretty much noone buys a next gen console to play last gen games. I played through everything I wanted to and sold my old console when the new ones came out... and haven't looked back since.
Skyrim and Fallout are better than most open world games though, too bad if you don't enjoy them.
I think it's almost 10 years now since the first time I told somebody to not buy EA games anymore... funny how things haven't substantially changed since then.
