Of course the obvious pleb choice would be TLoU or Uncharted, but I would personally choose either The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind or Red Dead Redemption. Both have such amazing atmospheres and I would love to re-experience that soul crushing moment when John Marston gets killed. And to play through the amazing world and deep lore of Morrowind again for the first time would send chills down my spine.
Agreed. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a great story in a video game, you just have to have the gameplay to balance it all out. I don't want to sit there just pressing X to get to the next cutscene. Either make a movie or take the time to craft a good GAME.
Skyrim is anything but "deep" and if you want to talk about series that have gone downhill, TES is a good place to start, what with all the dumbed down RPG elements, clothing customization etc.
I didn't know millions of kids had such an acquired taste.
The story in Heavy Rain is fucking garbage and is full of plot-holes.
Can you imagine a Zelda series/movie by Studio Ghibli? Amazing thought.
I hope they go back to the no-talking visual gags they had in the LEGO Star Wars games. The LEGO games are a personal favorite of mine.
By the time this emulator can actually run commercial games with little hitches or FPS hits, Nintendo will have moved on to their next handheld or even one after. Emulators take a LOT of time to develop. Some don't even ever get finished. So any pirates that download games will have very little hit on the profits. Also chances are, the same people weren't going to buy a 3DS anyway.
I never said I pirated the games. I rip my own games and play them. Why do you all jump to conclusions so quickly? While I myself don't pirate, I don't really care if someone pirates games or not. It's their choice to be a criminal.
The main reason programs like these are created are so that when the original consoles are all old and don't work anymore, people can still play them and enjoy them. All (to my knowledge) of the official websites for emulators even...
Emulation isn't all about piracy, you know. Emulators tend to run games better (or worse in some cases) than the original hardware and can make a good look better than it did. Look at the HD retexture of Xenoblade Chronicles for example, it looks amazing in HD, something the Wii sadly couldn't do.
Morrowind influenced me in the way that it shows how video games can have a great story/universe without having to show it through forced cutscenes or dumbed down gameplay.
This is not new in any way. I used this when I was playing SMB two years ago on the Wii virtual console.
Why don't you buy it?
You ignorant fuck, just because someone doesn't want gay shit infecting video games doesn't mean that all they play are cawwaduty casual shit and also don't ignore the fact that TLoU isn't any better considering that at least people play CoD for its gameplay and you're not supposed to watch it.
Video games aren't movies. Why try to make them something they aren't?
LGBT themes aren't the only mature themes you can fit into a video games story. De...
When it goes inevitably really F2P I'll probably give it a try but only because I am a hardcore TES lorefag.
@Cindy-rella Why would you want to play the lesser version of a game you've played before? Genuinely curious.
Maybe the sky wouldn't be so brown if you got out of that ghetto.
What about the Katamari games? Those are amazing games.
If this was in the UK, maybe. Considering you have to be 18 to buy any sort of knife at all, including plastic butter knives.
Where did you get the idea you need a phone for this?
