I think day/night cycle would add a great deal. Then again. using a sandstorm to move cover positions when a sniper has you pinned down might be nice. I just wouldn't want to see weather become some gimmicky mechanic that takes over the gameplay.
IGN of all sites, they can't review to save their lives. Who cares about quality when you are the biggest.
Title is a bit sensational. The developer basically says cockpit view was removed so they had more room to add more cars, detail on the track.
I think he's core argument is that the game deceives you into doing bad things when you know they are bad. Like the famous mortar sequence which forces you to fire when there are no hostile targets left.
I'd much rather open source physics that both nVidia and AMD could use and fight for performance over.
I thought dead space 1 did music worse, so many times I'd hear the impending doom music before seeing the actual enemy. A rare occurrence in DS3. Not sure what difficulty the reviewer was playing on, but I thought the resources were about fair on Hard.
how long can you milk a cow for
how about announcing the season pass after release
Man that's pretty sad to see gamespy go down. They had all the awesome "planet_" sites back in the day. Used to visit them quite regularly. Personally I'd rather see IGN fall on their sword than Gamespy.
a) No cockpit mode.
pathetic advertising
is there cockpit view?
not many to thank :P
Please don't do that. That's just bad form from CDPR. I love your games and I love Bethesda games. But saying it's generic when it won countless GOTY awards and is one of the best open world games ever made is downright stupid.
I've seen the good and bad of F2P, and I've decided I don't want to support it.
My goal, in the next 2-5 years, is to transition away from Crytek games.
Feels exactly like the previous games. Derelict space ships, necromorphs around every corner, jump scares, using stasis, couple of puzzles, audio logs that reveal history and writing on walls. No grind for resources yet.
I'm playing it now, game is easily a 9/10 so far
obviously trying to appeal to frat guys. Although I don't think DS2 Box art was anywhere near as good as the first.
The first box art sums up the game so well. You have space in the background, some kind of ship structure (ishimura) then you have this hand. It's obviously a futuristic type hand but it's covered with armor or some type of engineering suit. Then there is the blood, so something bad is going down. And finally the arm is dismembered which is a nod to...
sounds PR are trying to make it into a controversy to get more sales.
