Nintendo aren't close at to doing this just because people see Sega having moderant success as one. Their DS & 3DS literally prints money for them and their handhelds have keep them afloat during lean years. Sure WiiU under performed but it's been selling good recently and even outsold XB1 for a month or two when mario kart came out. It will outsell xb1 again when smash bros. releases. Their Handheld and consoles would both both need to collapse for them to ever consider this, ain...
Maybe microsoft should have bought this game instead to compete with Uncharted and fill it's uncharted size hole in it's library. http://youtu.be/BkvRgmjncME
I wanna see this game die. I would much rather see a new Legacy of Kain game instead of this. This garbage is the remains of the online mode for the cancelled Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun game, which would be superior to this. I do remember Square saying if did well they'll reconsider making another LOK game though but i don't trust SE. But i'm liking FFXIV and i hope FFXV is great and is worth the wait.
I believe he's talking about Assassin's Creed Unity. never played DA or The Witcher but i'm likely to get Bloodborne. I haven't played AC since AC2. Busy on Final Fantasy XIV currently. To stay on topic, yes it looks great, i liked their joe danger games.
Maybe SE didn't wanna go head-to-head against Uncharted 4. This will give SE another 6 months to polish up the superior PS4 version. SE was already making the ps3,PS4,360 versions. In the original announcement for this game PS3,PS4,360 were versions were announced too. They'll sit on these and maybe polish them up hopefully in the mean time.
This be Nintendo's LBP game, it looks great.
They'll patch the xbone for bugs but just not the extra patches that add in extra content and it could miss some DLC. I don't believe patches are part of some marketing deal, it's a business decision by blizard. especially if it sells poorly compared to the PS4 version.
I had fun in the beta but it'll be hard to find time for that with FFXIV and many other games coming this holiday and with my ever expanding backlog and plus games. I may still get it later
This comment about future support was really about adding new content and features when the pc versions gets them patched. Blizzard will patch bugs i believe for xbone but it won't get the patches that add content and it'll miss some DLC maybe. PS4 will get patched right with PC shortly following it. I don't think patches is part of some marketing deal though.
That and that big MS moneyhat they were given swayed them too.
I loved the gamecube remake but that was in 2002 but it still looks great. I hope capcom puts more of an effort into this than they did with the RE4 & RE:CV ports, the bare minimum was done with those. I would love to see a RE2 remake or hd port, a version where you could switch between both old with cleaned up graphics and new modern graphics.
I like PlayStation but i love mario, zelda, metroid and some other nintendo franchises, they're worth buying the systems for. For those types of games there isn't much of anything that equals them on a PS3 OR PS4. Guacamelee is a good Metroid-vania game and throws some obvious nods to metroid in it.
Great reason to own a Gamecube besides the obvious Ninty franchises i bought too. I still have RE1 remake and zero plus the RE2&3 ports GC discs that are quite rare. I would like a re-release on current systems or PS3
I want the Mega man collection released on PSN with cross buy, cross save.
The beta has been very impressive over the last 3 months or more i've been trying it. The pricing isn't bad and cheaper than redbox's $2 a day pricing which most seems to praise them about. I say try it first before making these wild bandwagon claims, so much groupthink it appears. If you have a PS3 or a PS4 or wait till sometime in 2015 when the subscription plan comes in. @Novistador yeah people spend in betas every day. Look at PlayStatio...
@Death If you were able to see the games being offered, almost all the games in it have been non-sony games. Moparful99 was correct they don't set prices but i imagine there's cooperation between sony and publishers on pricing. Killzone 3 was recently added and that's the only Sony game in the beta out of 122 being offered right now.
The pricing is good and cheaper than redbox which everybody seems to like and praise it's $2 a day rentals. Where here the rentals are alot cheaper than redbox. Maybe you'll just wait til the sub comes sometime in 2015. That would be a prudent move and the service will be far improved and expanded by then. These are early days remember and these aren't set prices.
If you'd look you'll see 7 day rentals for $7.99 on several titles. Hell the picture in the preview shows alone in the dark, that costs $4.99 for 90 days, now is that highway robbery?
The prices aren't too bad and is actually cheaper than the 2 bucks a day redbox charges if you don't do the 4hr rental. $7.99 for a 7 day rental or 11 or 12 dollars for a 30 day rental is reasonable and not robbery at all. But this seems directed at people without a PS3 since you could just buy the game for what the 90 day typically costs. I would just like to see the 4hr period change to 24hrs. Introduce a way for me to stream my purchased PSN games, whether have it a plus feature or...
They have expanded beyond PS3 owners who are buying it,over a 3rd of purchasers never owned a PS3.
