why is gears in this argument? I am not a fanboy and I will the first to tell you gears of war is glitchy horrible game that i hate to play. It is the most over-rated game of the 360.
I read it, but my post was more joking than serious. Ill explain it just for you though. They reviewed a review copy, and it has several bad qualities to it. And they decided to trust someones word, and ignore the bad things (becuase they said they were going to be fixed) and review it anyway. You cannot play a game with poor controls, and then be told "well the controls will be better." You simply cannot do that, and assume the controls will be good.

Well, most great 360 games that come out on the PC come out a large time afterwards. With that argument, lets just ignore haze and UT3 (both coming to 360) and the ps3 lineup this year is warhawk, lair, Ratchet, and heavenly sword.
So if you want to hope games like Mass Effect come out on the PC a year or two later, then dont buy a xbox 360. But if you want the games first and with a guarantee of them being there, then buy them for the 360.

Haze and UT3 are not true exclusives, and you know they arent. So yea, of course the 360 list is going to look a lot better because, guess what, they have a lot more games coming this year. Its a cute little fact.

Both systems still have some games coming out this year, but i would still say the xbox 360 has a better line-up as far as true exclusives.

So actually, the xbox 360 will have some system sellers. Especially with your argument you say the ps3 has GTA 4 (multi-platform game with exclusive content to 360)
While i do think Mass Effect will sell extremely well, i could honestly care less. Why should i care if my console of choice sells great or if its games sell great. I could honestly care less if 15 people buy mass effect. I dont see any of the money, i just spend 60 dollars regardless.
I just dont see the point in being a fanboy and acting like it is a huge deal if your console sells more of one game or not. People need to get a life

is it just me, or do people consistently talk about how the ps3 will be better in 2-3 years. I will be gaming only for about the next year, so anything beyond that is pointless to me. For everyone else, the ps3 may be the better choice, but I am content with my 360, xbox live ,and the 2007 game lineup.
But i do hope the ps3 puts out some amazing games, and they will.
Bioshock easily. It is one of the best 360 games coming out this year, better install base, better reviews, and much more original.

eventually, PSN may be better than xbox live, but currently, its not even close folks. I know everyone will disagree, but o well. Its the truth right now. Its not the sole fact that xbox live has so many more features, its more the fact about how much content is available. How many demos, and videos, and movies are added every week.

why is everyone saying they passed up gta for this and it was a great decision. Two things wrong with that. One, there is no way they even had an opportunity to get GTA exclusive, and you know it. That would cost way more than sony would spend ever, plus the 360 version will sell more with a larger install base and exclusive content). And two, if they hypothetically passed up GTA for a new IP, then they would be the "dumbest" company in the world.
actually 360 has more games coming out. And more high-profile games.
But whatever, making up stuff like that is cool.
