Awesome. :)
I've always hoped my daughter doesn't get into Barbies, but a Tomb Raider Barbie with a pickaxe? I can get behind that! Maybe I'll buy her one and give it to her in a few years. Now make her some Uncharted & The Last of Us Barbies. My daughter's name is Elena, who we also call "Ellie" afterall! :)
I had played the Grand Kingdom demo when it first came out. It seemed pretty decent for fans of JRPGs. It was a full priced release title. I'm looking forward to it, especially since it's on PS4 and Vita. (I actually still use my Vita a lot.)
I already own Knack and Rime, but I'd say it's a solid month.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day!
My friend let me borrow his Oculus Rift and let me tell you, it is absolutely amazing in VR on PC. Best way to experience it, IMO. Still, anyone who only games on XB1 should pick this up. It's a fantastic game. I've owned it since last summer during Steam's Summer Sale.
Falafel, man. Feed yourself first.
...and his critics said his game was only a pipe dream. Just wait until this drops and makes a splash on the industry.
I imagine his #2 flowed much more smoothly?

I've collected quite a number of free games on UPlay. I can't say I'm the biggest fan of its bloated platform, but they have been pretty generous w freebies if you've kept up with their mailing list over time.
Maybe not quite as good as the trailer, but it still looks pretty darn good, IMO. The sense of speed in 1st person view is pretty great.
Here's actual gameplay:

She will & she does... for $85 an hour. XD
The game launched first on Oculus Rift to mediocre reviews, yet somehow hope was held that it would be a great game on XBox One.
I have a more than capable gaming PC, mostly play lots of Forza... but I won't touch Super Lucky's Tale until it hits under $10.
I remember the first time Playstation touched me. It's a great feeling. Can't wait to see what's yet to come!!
edit- my soul, obviously. They entered this boy's soul long ago and never left!
Yea I agree. I still like some competitive gaming time. (I fit right into that average age +2 years) I do like to game to relax, because like the article says, there are more stress factors in life as we age. Bills, family. I love my wife, our daughter who was born at the beginning of this year. She's getting to the point where she absorbs a lot from us. I don't want her to see me stressing over an an online shooter. But there's time for those games too. Mainly when she goes to be...
World of Final Fantasy is actually a pretty good game though. I've enjoyed it so far.
Glad to hear they've announced a sequel for Japan. I would assume it will come to the West.
The Vita is actually my preferred choice with this game. It looks really good for a Vita title and is perfect for on-the-go gaming. I plan on picking up the PS4 version on sale so I can use cross save.
Sad to hear the PC port was cheaply done, as I am a PC gamer on other titles. :\
Antnee, I could say you missed the magic of Zelda. I was almost 6 when the first Zelda hit. The one that really impacted me though was A Link to the Past. Still one of my favorite games to this day. That released when I was in middle school, right around the time I turned 13.
When has a Pokemon game ever been better than Mario or Zelda?
I'm in my late 30's, so I am not biased. My younger sister was into Pokemon when the craze first hit, but it missed my generation.
Seriously though? Nostalgia hitting a bit hard? I tried buying a Pokemon game mid 2000's, never found it to be as engaging as the Mario or Zelda games I grew up on in the 80's and 90's.
I do think this should be the new cycle. Every 2 years at the most. I'm actually looking forward to this one with the Egyptian theme. I've been burnt out on the series too, but I've also really enjoyed it at times as well. AC:Black Flag comes to mind. Absolutely loved the Naval battles, ship exploration. The story was still meh, but the gameplay was fun.
Cool deal. We can buy them for collecting and for our kids. Maybe I'll get 2? One would look cool on display in mine and my wife's office/art studio. :)
