Yea, zen is easy to use and invest. And half if a level isn't a big deal. If you grind it out before fighting a boss your good. You can revive and return mid exploration too.
Dragon rot does nothing. No one ever dies, and it only holts quest progression.

I think it depends on how you view difficulty. Seikiro is much more forgiving in death. But combat is way more difficult and punishing IMO. You can retry and take more risks, far more often and not get angry over it.
The light punishment is making this more enjoyable, for me.
Them not putting in an easy mode, IS a form of respect. They think people are perfectly capable of beating their game.

It's just the truth, this game is unbelievably, half baked. I'm not saying what I say goes, but there should still be a general sense for quality.

Did I even play the same game as these reviewers? This game's shortcomings, are far too great to be anything other than slightly above average. I love KH 2, and it's one of my favourite games of all time. but KH 3? Complete Failure..... What a sad joke.
Judging by the dislikes, people are either in denial or giving it a free pass. What a shame........
The game doesn't compare to KH 2 at all. Even the combat has its faults. It's too easy, and feels more like a Dynasty Warriors game, rather then KH at most times. There weren't even any REAL Organisations fights to truly define the game mechanics either.
This game is in no way 8.5, 6 at best. As a long time KH fan (main games), I really hate this game.
But the switch wasn't out 22 years ago lol
