Fantasy games are very different than video games, and I believe that Miriam Bellard fails to recognize the distinction.
I just hope the AI and enemies make the game worthwhile.
I have to admit - this idea is interesting, but it could be extremely dangerous for those people who have little self-control.
It's definitely an untapped market though.
This actually looks really interesting. I remember hearing about the idea a few months ago, but didn't think much of it until this news piece. Could be successful if it's accessible to all types of gamers.

They are great man. The outside environments are really what's exciting - GTA IV was fantastic, but the playability possibilities of the LA area is just out of this world.

I'm guessing the map editor won't be shown until right before the game's release. It's rumored to be incredibly detailed, even letting you set flora as drugs/healing stations in multiplayer. That's awesome, if you ask me.
