Mainly buying this for multiplayer.
Single player is fantastic so I'll be trying that on Grounded, and despite having Left Behind since it released I have still not played it so got that to play as well.
But damn, if this isn't one of the most unique, addictive and incredible multiplayer games then what is? I never thought TLOU would have an mp mode that my mates and I would still be playing a year after release. But it's too freakin' good, ma...
Phantom Hourglass was the first one I ever played; I bought it for a holiday. Holy damn was it good.
I tried Spirit Tracks but I found it disappointing after PH, and Ocarina of Time I enjoyed but got a little bored with D:
Currently playing Link Between Worlds which I'm finding to be fun.
Maybe I prefer Zelda when it's a portable, on-the-go adventure :p
So for me, Phantom Hourglass :D
They are building it in the 2010s in which High Definition is the default in video games. It is a remake, yes, but the addition of the 'HD' in the moniker could cause it to be confused for a mere remastering.
It's simply because 'HD Remake' has been thrown around so much and is often used to describe re-releases that barely feature any visual improvement over their original counterparts. New 'n' Tasty, on the other hand, is a full-fledged remake ...
In that trailer there is a shot that is reused 3 times. That's mega-lame editing haha.
OT: Dead Nation was awesome but I played the absolute hell out of it. Not sure if a couple new modes will be enough to make me re-purchase.
Red was a freakin' badass in Revolver. When they brought him to Redemption multiplayer though he was unrecognisable!
Impressive they got the original voice cast back, but Red sounded entirely different. Just like some red-neck cowboy instead of the Eastwood-esque character he was originally :(
Bring Red back, in all his glory :D
I always had issues trying to get STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl to run smoothly. No matter what I did, that thing constantly gave me grief in the frame-rate department and ultimately I traded it. Tried it some years later on a newer, better and faster rig and it was still a pain in the ass to run nicely. And I never thought the visuals were that incredible so it had me stumped xD meh.
James is a great Youtuber and filmmaker. His AVGN videos are still my personal favorite, but his Board James series, You Know What's Bullshit episodes, Cinemassacre movie reviews and many other sub-series he does are all great entertainment. And as someone above said, he comes across as a very genuine, intelligent and affable guy in any behind the scenes videos or Q&A panels and whatnot. Arguably my favorite Youtube channel; I always go back to him xD
Looking forward ...
Not a boss as such, but Oxide's ghosts on Crash Team Racing were outstanding in their difficulty. Some tracks were easy, sure, but others were just merciless. Took me an age to finally beat them all: out of childhood, through the teenage years and into adulthood.
And the worst part is you get absolutely f*** all for it noooooooooooo ><
I have enjoyed all 3 main titles for their different reasons, but I think I'm one of the few who actually preferred Farcry 2 in some ways.
Don't get me wrong, the constantly respawning enemies in a civilian-free world was irritating, as were the weapon and vehicle repair mechanics and horrific fast travel system, amongst other things.
But personally, I thought the world itself was much more interesting: the wide open, golden expanses of the Savannah a...
...and now the article has disappeared.
Ha, nice one 'Vyralize'! Good work. /s
This is a fair score, although it makes no sense in that IGN rated KZ2 a 9.4 and KZ3 an 8.5 and then give Shadow Fall an 8.0 whilst at the same time claiming it's the best entry in the core series.
It sometimes feels like they just slap any old number on there without considering how they've rated other titles that have preceded the one in question.
Oh well, good score and no doubt a great game! :)
I'm glad you can buy businesses and things again! Always remember the ice cream one from Vice City xD
Seems like a blend of the old and the new :D
S'gonna rock balls.
If you've been following news on Oddworld and JAW, you'd understand exactly why they've been re-releasing the existing titles in updated conditions (and they actually did some incredibly decent work compared to most other HD remakes etc.). Since Oddworld is now entirely self-financed and published, it requires some moolah in order to invest in larger, riskier - but ultimately greater - projects. So, they've released the old titles in various forms, now they've moved on to ...
Well I mean in the sense that it was such a unique experience that I wouldn't be against keeping it that way :P
Obviously I would play TLOU 2, but certainly in some respect I'd rather them not make a sequel ¦)
The Last of Us is just an astounding feat in game design.
Personally, alongside RDR, it's my favourite title this gen.
Never played anything quite like it, and to some extent, I hope I never do again.
Honestly one of a kind.
What a ridiculously vague response that was. Really, there is no proper answer in there at all. Just a lot of rambling about how they 'understand' and 'realise' and 'think about' and 'will find ways' and whatever other evasive bollocks he wants to say.
Guy's full of shit.
This guy can't write good English for shit.
Not sure about the song..ha, but the trailer's pretty cool.
I reckon this is shaping up to look pretty sweet, despite it not being a continuation of the series' story up to this point.
I guess after The Cartel though, that's a good thing...
But nice visuals, smooth gameplay...and set in the Old West again! Looking forward to it!
This just sounds ridiculously good.
6 for New 'n' Tasty? Damn.
I thought it was outstanding :o
