Interesting article, but I am hoping against it.
ISP caps are still a big thing to consider, some as low as 50gigs a month. And my internet is not stable enough to stream a game through something like OnLive.
If it is an added service, just an extra way to get games I am fine with it. But I dread it if it becomes the only way to play them.

The Wiimote does not handle like a sword, and as someone who uses swords on a daily basis, this killed it.

Mercury Steam have butchered Castlevania and now they get the handheld games as well?
I have been with this franchise since the first one, and saddly I and finished with the games it would seem. Mercury Steam have killed the story by creating their own story line, and now we don't even get the Japanese based handheld games.
If the combat were deeper... Or deep at all, the game might have been fun, but as it is, it just felt half finished overall.
I agree. Instead of focusing on making better graphics, we need to shift focus on making it easier to make games, thus lowering the time and money it takes to make a game.
Uncharted 3, Frostbite, MT Framework, all are great, but now we need to make those graphics cheaper to hit, cause if we stick with the same, dated bothersome software, dev costs will skyrocket next gen.
I think it could use some fine tuning on the AI, and the stealth.
But all in all, the bullet drop is freaking fun! And will also test your accuracy very well. I enjoy it, it's flawed, but the next installment could be great.

I focus on nothing but the games, but it seems like an odd business choice to me, but what I am assuming is they are trying to find a happy middle ground where the core will not dismiss it, but the casuals will stick to the 'Wii' branding.
It does seem kind of stupid for them to do this. They want this core market back, you they still keep that name...
