A emulator is about more then that, firstly I'm sure this guy has not spent 10 years working on it.
Mostly a working emulator can help play rare games, like Tenchu Z for example. Limited physical release and no digital release so as time goes by it will be harder to find the game, things like that are what emulation are most useful for, they tend to start with hard to run games to better optimize the emulator in question.
I mean, that's what I did... But not everyone had the option, or just couldn't justify spending the money on a console for a single game.
But I still understand why they are doing it, and admire the work they put in to making this work.
Two things, you are heavily undercutting the level of work that goes in to emulation. Yeah, companies with full unhindered access to the source code of a game can port it faster, emulation developers have to crack the encryption and then start with no tools to make everything work.
Second they are saying the Xenia emulator is already running faster then RPCS3 which is a PS3 emulator that has been in the works for a while, so it is impressive that Xenia has already caught up...
If the devs are working on Ray Tracing like the Gran Turismo team is claiming, then I don't see 60fps being achieved with Ray Tracing.
I just looked up some clips from MM8 based on your post, that was absolutely amazing!
They would need the original guy back for it, and he is currently with Sony with Siren and Gravity Rush. So sadly it won't really happen, and that's even beside the point of Konami's head being so far up their own ass.
On the high end, A second season pass for a new story leading in to Spider-Man 2
Likely just some outfits.
But in the case of Battlefield V, they are altering history to force the diversity when they don't even need to. There are plenty of cases of women, blacks, whites, and Asians all fighting. Why alter existing battles to force diversity when you ignore the stories that actually exist? That is more of a disservice to the ACTUAL soldiers and their legacy.
Need a female soldier? Lyudmila Pavlichenko, Russian sniper with 309 confirmed kills.
Deep Down?
A large portion of them are smaller titles, more akin to Déraciné, and Firewall: Zero Hour but they did also launched Spiderman, and Detroit.
Like I said, most of them will be smaller IP's that were less heard of, but they did launch several high profile new IP's as well so it's a great balance.
The game is not out, but if you pre-order it (Amazon does not charge until the game is shipped) you are locked it at this pricing, or lower I'd they do a cheaper sale.
I pre-ordered it.
2080ti Can't run Ys VIII without crashing either. It's more about the coding and less about the power of the card in these situations.
Looks good, hope Adol makes an appearance in the game in some fashion though.
NDA's are not a joke, too many people think it's just a way to play the game early but these Alpha Tests are pretty serious. I've been under NDA's before and yeah you want to talk about this stuff but you are under a legal agreement not to.
Review sites have been blacklisted by companies for this.
Maybe, but I am really upset they went class based for the frames. I wish it was handled more like Armored Core, I want to use the lightest frame with a single super heavy weapon.
Every DMC game has had a demo prior to release, so I know this one will, and after the way the question was presented and answered, there will certainly be one, just a question of when.
Cool, and while SE is reviving PS1 games can we get Bushido Blade 3?
I'm not opposed to a camera angle shift, but the gameplay mechanics and skill system should remain they way they are, I love D3 (Never played the older ones, Though I should) the only thing I want in D4 if it is still top down is the ability to move with WSAD or use a controller, I don't like the movement in the PC version.
Only thing about a camera angle shift is that it might be hard to see what's going on around you in 3'rd person when you start fighting...
Yes, way overdue.
I've gotten about 200-300 hours out of each DMC game to date, so this about what I expected for a first run through.
