Want to change to your sidearm? Better pull out the next disc.
As long as I don't have to complete a prerequisite quest to use the bathrooms!
Another one of these?
I think that it's not only evident but PCs will have the upperhand just because people will be upgrading theirs more often than they upgrade their console to a new generation.
Yeah, some of the indie games I play require more thought than the latest EA title but the article is mostly referring to how a typical hardcore gamer's perception of me would be different because I chose to play those indie games over something else.
Oh ha! I didn't follow your link, sorry. The hands-on article there really made it seem like this would be more than just a console port and half-assed game. The players sounded like they saw potential in the game.
At least from my perspective. I have no fears about it being watered down by console versions. That said, I don't think the console versions will take off at all.

Perhaps that can alleviate your fears.
Yeah, XBLA and PSN release along with Mac and PC.
Sadly, I won't be able to spend time on them all. My clones are still imperfect and spontaneously combust after a few minutes.
Looks like I won't be choosing between MW3 and BF3 anymore. :]
A lot of the quality indie games on there don't need high specs.
Also, you can just get a Steam account the second they mention that they are giving away free games again. I downloaded Steam even when I wasn't playing on my PC anymore because of Portal being free for a time.

If you like this, check out Rusty Hearts. They both push up the quality average for free MMOs.
Frustrating?
Sign me up! I expect that I'll love it but I'll just have to wait and see.
That is, unless people change the sliders around. I donated all of it to developers when I got the Frozenbyte bundle. I donated all of it to charity when I got this bundle.
I lost my copy but I remember liking it better than GTA 3 at least.
I'm actually excited by the low review, because his main complaint concerns how punishing the game is. Perhaps it will be played easier on a PC?
I'll know when I get it for Steam.
I wonder how financially successful the Humble Bundle has been for the developers. As in, over what they would have made before the Humble Bundle's inception.
I appreciate that this argument is opposite to the direction that I'm use to hearing (and saying, for that matter).
That said, I think we can all agree that new IPs are always a good thing. They stir the pot of what games can be. On the other side, I love sequels because it's great to see the continuation of the story.
Also, people are voting with their money. The Dynasty Warriors franchise wouldn't have gotten this far if the games didn't sel...
Yes they are.
