You might want to read the end then.
I don't mean to say that people will buy it off the bat. It's almost an eventuality that you'll get it, though.
Of course some people won't get it. That was a colorful exaggeration. My girlfriend isn't interested in FPS games and lots of people don't have time to invest in a $60 title.
I wanted the piece to be more of a celebration of MW3 than a comparison between the two games but it would almost be like an elephant in the room if I didn't at least mention my fleeting thoughts.
I'm getting both (at very different release times) but I think MW3 will do way better.
Isn't WoW just collapsing from age at this point?
Guild Wars 2 is battling a decrepit old man. A rich one, though.
I guess this is a throwback.
Some of those places..
I would never play a game set in that doll island. Never!
Skill points/experience/branching stories or dialogue are quickly becoming the norm in games.
A lot of action-adventure titles have resorted to using these systems in order to give the player more choice in their playstyle. Honestly, it's not that much of a bad thing, it just means that traditional RPG mechanics are fitting inclusions into other game-types.
It's getting harder to find RPGs that are only RPGs these days. I'm alright with it.
That's probably one of my only complaints about the game.
I guess they figured that people would be hurrying past the radios.
Nope.
Compares you with anyone who has trophies. My girlfriend isn't registered but she's on there.
It's unofficial and needs you to refer friends as well as complete offers. Forget that.
I am not taking a loan out so i can get MW3.
"He has been interviewed by MCV seven times and has been the face of PlayStation Europe for over two years. But who is he really?"
How do you not know after seven interviews.
That's exactly what I am. On the hardest difficulty, too.
I'm playing through it right now and I completely agree with the article when it comes to boss battles. They don't fit.
Honestly, I just want something that keeps me from messing with discs. I'm probably one of the few people that prefers digital games over physical ones.
It sucks that I sometimes lose physical copies, especially older games.
Whoa... Heavy Metal Gear. Ideas are running through my head.
Welcome to the world of easy screenshots. I love it.
We would attract the wrong kind of audience if everything was about panties. We probably already do. :P
The classics are great and deserve releases in the new consoles but I'm yearning for a couple new IPs.
Something that makes me forget about Mario for a couple minutes.
I've been way more frugal about games this generation but we have to understand that inflation pushes price up in every sector.
The vending machines at my university increased their prices from $1 to $1.10. Now I have to remember a dime along with four quarters when I want to get a soda.
We can keep afloat as long as salaries grow with the trend. Mine hasn't grown enough, though..
Would they really want to enter this industry? They are doing so well in other areas. If they failed or stumbled here, it would change public opinion for the worse.
You make good points.
I'm mainly a PC gamer but I've relegated COD titles to my PS3 because of the lack of dedicated server support and the rampant hacking in the Steam version of the game.
