If Sony kept HDMI port from early Vita prototype / demo units, with standard microSD - history could've been very different.
Sony knew they messed up and shoehorned PSTV in there, but it was considered $150 slap in the face by many Vita owners.
What a shame - guess we'll never know :(
I agree with the ethical responsibilities these agencies are supposed to uphold. Unfortunately they don't work that way. They are more similar to the corporations they are there to regulate.
Most are corrupt, taking money from large corporations. Our tax dollars pay the regulators, and we pay again the costs corporations incur paying the regulators, in the form of hidden taxes in their products and services.
It's up to consumers to vote with their...
When has govt regulation ever ended well for consumers? How many people wanting govt intervention bought this game and didn't return it, despite the negative reviews?
Doesn't EA have their own lobbyist spokesholes to buy off congress? It seems likely they could gain more power with this move.
I'm just here for the lulz - brought popcorn.
TL;DR
Didn't say piracy is ok - just observations.
I buy games - not my business what others do.
It's psN4G bruv.
I believe piracy is becoming relevant again thanks to games being released incomplete, with DLC, loot boxes, microtransactions. If you add everything up, games are more expensive than ever.
Many people claim DLC is just robbed content from their purchased games and they're justified to pirate it back.
I like your idea but we all know they can't be trusted to be reasonable. They'd just give us 2 Free Loot Boxes per Trade-in.. Haha!
Whether you prefer digital or physical, I think we can all agree we need competition in the market. Without physical media for retail and used game markets, we risk a monopoly run by "Loot Box Factories"
Sonic Unleashed is criminally underrated. Sure, it's not 100% perfect but once you get past the learning curve, there's a hidden gem beneath the surface. For years I avoided it because of the negative reviews. Recently I decided to give it a shot and almost rage quit immediately. Despite my frustrations, I powered through and I'm so glad I did. The game reminds me so much of Mario Odyssey. It's amazing how well this 9 year old game still holds up today!
If they ruin this game with Loot Boxes, I will not buy it. I'm sick and tired of this crap!
More like EAvil Corp doesn't like Linear games because they're harder to monetize!
loot cereal boxes
Why? There weren't any BF discounts were there?
I noticed a couple Switch game discounts, but mostly Android ports - not first party.
Not according to this article. I'm not "anti GT" or anything. I own all previous games in the franchise and love them. It would be nice for this game to still function in a few years when the servers are no longer maintained. It's obvious this is "always online" just like SimCity was.
What good is offline singleplayer campaign if you cannot save your progress without internet connection? I just want full access to my game and saves when PSN or internet is down. I don't care about leaderboards and I'm happy to opt-out, in favor of truly offline experience - please give us the option.
If they fix offline singleplayer campaign, I'll consider buying. So far they don't seem to be taking it too serious as "you will still require internet access to save your progress"
I'm glad lootboxes, pay-to-win and other DLC are finally getting some backlash. I'm worried we'll start seeing "hidden taxes" in future games with government regulation. That's how it always goes, but maybe this time it will be different.
None of these are really deals. Another blogger with Amazon affiliate links and "Black Friday" click-bait headline.
Kinda meh IMO. Wish they gave out free games like MS, not limited to 4,000 keys blah.
