Personally, I think games on ALL platforms are too expensive if...
1) It's not a physical copy
2) It's incomplete and requires you to purchase DLC
3) It requires an Internet connection to play
4) It's remastered by simply stretching the resolution and adding some lighting filters

Some games will require updates for limited functionality. DLC still bothers me. In 20 years when I'm feeling nostalgic - Will I still be able to download the updates to unlock Amiibo support for my games?
Still, the Nintendo characters mean more to me than Skylanders and Infinity, as I grew up playing the earliest Nintendo games.

Like several of the games released lately, The Xbox One requires you to first connect to the Internet and download the Day-One DRM patch before you can really do anything with your system.

Personally, I haven't bought into the whole DLC hype. I'll buy some <$3 games on Steam sure, but I never invest a serious amount of money in something I can't use offline. It's what's holding me back from buying an Xbone actually. The only exception was WoW, but I was addicted at the time.
I also don't pre-order. Devs can't always deliver on their promises... Why reward them with money in advance?

It amazes me that so many will buy something based on what "might be" vs what is.
Especially after all the recent embargoes and botched game releases.
A LOT of those games are Multiplat - I think people are talking about few Exclusives
