You can play without using any real money.
You should try metro 2033, saints rows, Darksiders 1 and 2, Company of heroes (If you have a decent PC).
They're good games, Metro and company of heroes are my favorite games from them.

Looks bad actually, look at the low res pendant and wounds, anything below the head looks low res too, just a high res face. Those have been around a long time ago.
