If your parents have been cruel enough to keep you away from HD gaming and state of the art consoles, then Wii U will seem like a huge leap when they buy it for you. PS3 has a lot of untapped potential but most devs will not develop for a dual layer blu ray disc or higher because of the high costs of cramming 50-100gb of data on a disc. GOW3 made good use of blu ray and I think Kilzone used it too. MGS4 was the first but it just crammed a bunch of high def cinematics on it. I think the only reason we are seeing 8s is because of the new voice actor. The original actor was a perfect fit for cole even though he did have too much gravel in his throat. The new guy just sounds like he is trying to sound like the original cole without the chain smoking. Its not a big issue for me because they pretty much amped everything else up but I could see why it might bother people.

No I want them to actually make a console that is on par with current gen technology. I want them to forget about "the good times" and make a new IP that doesnt involve ripping off fat people like a bad infomerical. Whats with all the retro games? If you like your water pixelated thats fine but give some credit to Heavy Rain, GTA IV, Oblivion and God of War 3 when it comes to actually making it look real.
