Yup, Agreed. 720p on 1080p TV in 2018 is just like 1440p on 4K TV in 2018. Not good at all. But luckily, I use my Switch almost exclusively as a handheld and 720p looks good enough on the small screen.

Great. Ill be enjoying Seas of Thieves, State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, Forza Horizon 4, Ori 2, Halo 6, more enhanced 4K X360 and OG Xbox titles, and the best home console versions of Red Dead Redemption 2, Anthem, Kingdom Heat 3, Far Cry 5, Soul Calibur 6....thank you very much. We Xbox gamers are good for 2018. No doom and gloom article needed. 👍🏼

It is early access. That is what the early access is for. It Will improve just like Every early access game.
Having said that, I am holding off getting this game until everything improves. I saw 15fps during the opening airplane scene and the framerate is a bit unpredictable right now.

Anyone that had played any of the 7 current X360 enhanced titles such as Gears 3, Skates 3 or Assassin's Creed 1 on the X knows what I'm talking about. These 720p games get actual native 4K resolution and are a treat for 4K TV owners.
Who wouldn't want to play such classics as Red Dead Redemption or Lost Odyssey at 4K resolution? And the best...

One thing too, those 97% of OG Xbox One owners have the option of running their ENTIRE library of invested games (XB1, BC X360) and accessories to the best console for 4K if they decide to do so, win the lottery, or found one in the street.....

Correct, 900p was and still is good enough on a 1080p TV. A 1440p on a 4K TV is like 720p on a 1080p TV...not good enough.
This game here is 1800p with visual enhancements from the PC version on the X and 1440p with NO visual enhancements on the Pro. You do the math.
56 percent of extra resolution over PS4 Pro, plus a range of visual upgrades pulled over from the PC version on the X. The Pro is bottleneck on 4K TVs with it's weak GPU and the same anount of ram as the OG PS4.
That is why I have decided to move my OG PS4 from my entertainment center to my room and use it with my 1080p desktop monitor with my X being the only console use with my 4K HDR TV. I just can't play with anything with 1440p and below on my 4K TV anymore after the X.
Over 50% resolution bump and higher textures quality made a world of difference on my 4K TV. 👍🏼
