Kinect doesn't necessarily mean causal gamer.
Maybe now, seeing as the only games available for it are games like Dance Central and Kinect Sports [all seem fun btw, and to me, fun is fun.]
But more traditional "core" games are coming out too.
Forza Motorsport 4
Child of Eden
Star Wars Kinect
Steel Batallion: Heavy Armor
Project D
Project Draco
...
That's two. But what about the rest?
I like having prone in video games if done right, it adds more strategic thinking in covering and regenerating health, reloading, etc.
They made Monster Hunter on Wii instead of PS3/360...
WHY.
I wondered why they didn't include Forza until I read " So let’s take a look at five racing games that we feel could satiate the speed demon within."
So Im assuming by that they mean arcade racers.
Among arcade racers, NFS Shift 2 and Twisted Metal are my top picks this year
I find it funny how both comments by jneul and KotC is true, but of course the comment that favors the Xbox is downthumbed and the Sony one is praised.
Gotta love this site.
Lol, wow. You ask why you should buy a 360, and then discredit every game thats given to you as being overrated.
GG.
Comments downplaying 360 games here on N4G, very typical. I dont understand why it has to be a warfare like this, aren't we all just gamers, we are all equal.... Why can't people just be excited for great games in general, and not hate on it just because you can't own it or it doesnt interest you.
As long as the difficulty of it makes sense, and its not hard just to be hard, then its great to me. I want that game every once in a while that can truly challenge you.
@AKA
Actually, I see a Sony fanboys bring up KZ in almost every Crysis 2 article.
Why was Limbo being bashed on this site for only being 6 hours long then, if it was the same price as this?
I'll wait until it drops to $250 honestly.
Interesting read.
In my own opinion, I prefer the Xbox 360 version, basically because of Mass Effect. Bioware being the quality developer that they are, made an ingenious edition to Mass Effect 2 on the PS3 with the interactive comic, and Im sure its great, but I would still prefer Mass Effect 1; its a great game. You can definitely enjoy Mass Effect 2 even if you didnt play Mass Effect 1 first.
In regards to the DLC, they even out really. You can get Mass Ef...
I got my XBL for $40 and it came with 2 XBLA games.
I realize alot of people that say PS+ is so good is because of the discounts they have, neglect the fact that XBL has weekly discounts too, and great ones. They even let the community vote for which one they want sometimes.
It sounds like alot of Sony elitists on this site too.
This, or Skyrim? Both seems like quality RPGs. Hopefully they dont release around the same time so I dont have to choose.
Exactly what smashman98 said. Demon's Souls could easily have played on the 360.
If HD means looking as good as Xbox, what's the point? If you have an Xbox 360 you might as well buy them the Xbox version for like 75% cheaper.
None of the PS3's MMO are exclusive either then [to my knowledge]. All have a PC counterpart
You chose one game on my list that isnt being made by a core developer, and thats Haunt; and so you claim that most of the list is that way. That makes no sense.
Also Steel Battalion, Rise of Nightmares, Project D, Project Draco, and Haunt were all announced at the same time; so judging from that, I think that the overall consensus of what MS was trying to push with that bundled announcement was to have it directed to the general core audience.
