Oh well. That just further justifies why I will get MW2 on my PC instead of my 360 or PS3.
I plan on playing MW2 in 1920 x 1200 @ 90fps with precision accuracy by using my keyboard and mouse!!
Yea anyone can go to ComicCon just like about anyone can go to E3. The only difference is the pass for ComicCon is around $50 and the pass to E3 is around $400.
That E3 price definitely shuns the broke fanboys from being able to attend, unless you are in the industry of course. You have to be pretty hardcore to drop that cash.
I was at E3 and I played GOW III there. The screens are a little blurry on these pictures it is hard to tell, but it doesn't look like what I played. If it is a new build expect new videos on youtube tonight.
If I’m not mistaken, I don't think i said "all" blu-rays are native 1080p. I said streamed movies on my 360 which I have, don't hold a candle to my blu ray movies, which I also have.
Also, using an example like Ghostbusters that came out in 1984 isn't a good example when comparing streamed 360 movies to blu ray. You should be comparing any Pixar movie, Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy, Knowing, Band of Brothers, Transformers, etc to determine a difference. The stream...
a. I have both a 360 and a PS3. The quality to a "HD" movie on the 360 doesn't even come close to the video and sound quality that blu ray provides. 360 movies are 720p an upscaled.
b. The blu-ray players that are close to $100 doesn't even have an ethernet port on it. (ie. no firmware updates)
c. It would take even more sales away from the PS3. Some people buy the PS3 just because it has a blu ray player in it.

You have to stay out of Best Buy when you are buying your Blu-Ray movies, they will rob you blind. Stick with either Amazon or Ebay.
I believe Sony said that at their E3 press conference. Plus, I went to E3 this past June. When I was playing the PSP GO, I asked one of the Sony reps what could it do if you tether it to a cell phone.
He responded like he didn't know what I was talking about. Either he couldn’t' say or he was an idiot. Either way I know I heard them say it at the E3 press conference. Check it out on YouTube and let me know what you get out of it.
Sony said that the PSP Go can some how be tethered to a cell phone. I hope that means you can use your cell phone's 3G connection to download videos and games on you PSP Go.
That would be cool because you wouldn't need a WiFi connection to download media or play multiplayer online (ie Gran Turismo or Little Big Planet on PSP). You better have an unlimited data plan though!!!
I'm pretty excited about what DX 11 could bring to gaming. When I first read about it, I decided to wait to upgrade my computer to make sure it was DX 11 compatible. I think ATI's first DX 11 compatible card is suppose to come out at the end of the year. I will get two of those cards and run them as crossfire along with AMD Phenom II X4 965 black edition processor that is coming out. That bastard has a 3.4ghz clock speed out the box!!

You would think Activision would want to release the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition to convince PC gamers not to download the game on torrent sites. But I guess they feel with services such as STEAM and other digital distribution places, a huge percentage of their PC sales won't be from physical media.

Man even if this were true, if the price of their console is anything like the prices of their desktop and laptop computers be prepared for the first $1,000 console.

I think DJ Hero is a great idea. I can definitely see different editions such as DJ Hero: Hip-Hop, DJ Hero: Rap, DJ Hero: Techno, DJ Hero: House, and DJ Hero: Electronica.
If it is a hit be sure to look out for an equivalent to RockBand. I think it will come with a microphone, turntable, and beat machines. That would be crazy!!
Ok lets be real here everybody. Until the US has a standard bandwidth of at least 100mpbs down you want see anything that will match blu-ray quality video/sound via the internet. The average household computer cpu can't even run 1080p video without lagging!
Also, the fact that Wal-mart has a $98 blu-ray player means that blu-ray is on the verge of making it break into mainstream.

The reason I said it is my opinion is because the last time I checked (please correct me if I’m wrong) Sony drop the PSP dev kit to $1,000 the week after E3. The iphone dev kit is around $250 or $300. I don't know about you but I don't see that many people rushing out to drop a grand to develop for the PSP if they can do iphone games for 1/3 of the cost.

In my opinion it's smart but a huge gamble. You look at how the iPod and Iphone are doing with mobile gaming and it’s insane. Don't be surprise if Sony releases a cheap PSP Go dev kit for minor independent developers to design games for the PSP Go. Also don't be shocked if Sony introduces its own version of the Apple App Store. The problem with Sony is even if they had all that stuff the average person wouldn't know because their marketing is very sub-par.
