Yea it's a lot of people because anybody can go to E3. If you are in the industry you can get in free. If you aren't, you have to pay for your pass which is about $400. If your hardcore enough and have some money to blow anybody can get in.

Even though an open-source Android OS PSP phone would be pretty hot, it seems like Sony is setting themselves up for more PSP piracy though. As long as they don't make it fully touchscreen then I'm good.
It seems like it wouldn't be smart to come out with a new Wii console since they have dominate this generation in console sales already. I wonder if it is possible for them to come out with a firmware update that gives the Wii the ability to display games at 720p. That way all Nintendo needs to do is release an HDMI adapter cable (which would sale out instantly because you can’t just use a standard HMDI cable). I would like to see Sega test the market to see if Shenmue 3 would sell by releasing both Shenmue 1 & 2 remastered in HD just like the GOW collection.
I think Sega should release a remastered Shenmue 1 & 2 (just like the GOW collection) to see how it sells. If they can push at least 1 million units (which it will) then give Shenmue 3 the green light.
LOL pp3 is just trying to start sh*t. Even though Alan Wake is a great looking game and I am enjoying playing through it; Uncharted 2 and GOW 3 are still number 1 and number 2 in my book as far as visuals.

To me it seems like all of this would be taken care of if the stores that sold rated M games to kids under the age of 17 were fined money. Everybody shouldn't be punished because companies aren't enforcing the ESRB's ratings on games. Well it is Sony, so the PSP 2 hardware is most likely going to be out of this world. The key is the price point for the thing. In my opinion, it has to be about $199 or less for people to think about jumping on it day one. I hope the price isn't close to the cost of a PS3 ($299) or it will fail to make the numbers.
We all know that M$ paid Ubi to make Splinter Cell Conviction a timed exclusive. Which was a good move on M$'s part, SC: Conviction is an awesome game.
It's safe to assume that Ubi is under contract that they can't even talk about SC: Conviction on the PS3 until the timed exclusivity is over (just like 2K couldn't with Bioshock). SC: Conviction will probably come on the PS3 around Thanksgiving or Christmas.
I think it is a good move by Nintendo. They can create extra hype and polish those games a little more and release them around Thanksgiving. They most likely will sell more copies that way.

Personally, I am waiting till the 2nd or 3rd generation 3Dtv to upgrade my TV. When all NFL games, NBA games, and most AAA gaming titles are in 3D I will be ready to upgrade.

This brought a small tear to my eye when I read this. I'm sure there will be an official announcement at the Star Wars Celebration V in August. I expect the 6 movie set to be around $150 on blu-ray. Oh well it's a day one purchase.
