Neither do I. Buying multiplats on mutiple systems doesn't even make sense. I wouldn't ever do that.
IMO, exclusives really don't matter to me. Out of all the exclusives that came out this year (both ps3&xbox) I've probably only played a few. Uncharted 3, gears 3, and Killzone 3 are the only ones I've played this entire year. And I only bought one of them. I do enjoy multiplat games much more.
I didn't buy my xbox or ps3 for their exclusives.
I love FPS freaks. I use them for every game, not just FPS games. I think it's much more comfortable to normal. I like how it's raised more.
Maybe the next gen football games will actually be good. After this mediocre gen of football, I'm looking forward to the next. Do not disappoint. It would be great if the first year of next gen football was also the first year 2k comes back.
Whatever the release date ends up being, I'm ready. If next year, that's fine. If I have to wait 2 or 3 more years, that's fine too. By the time it releases I should be out of college which means I should actual have money!! Yay!
As for price I think $500-$600 is as much as I would pay. Any more than that and I would really have to think about it.
I'm hoping it's $400 at release.

Yeah the xbox with kinect and $50 gift card was ridiculous. I have a xbox and kinect and I almost contemplated getting that even though I didn't need it. If nothing else I could of given my old xbox and kinect to my girlfriend and then I keep the $50 gift card and all I would have spent was $199. But unfortunately I'm a broke college student so nothing was bought on black Friday. : (
Not sure whether to take him seriously or not? He says graphics are beautiful but then gives it a 3? Doesn't even make sense. Also, if it's too dark, why not turn up the brightness? Problem solved.
I would love to hear his opinion on Gears 3 or uncharted 3 graphics. "the graphics in both games are absolutely the best I have ever seen. Therefore, I give them a 4/10."
Maybe I should have clarified. I wasn't saying all games less than 10 hours are bad. I meant stuff like movie based games. Single player only. Less than 10 hours. And almost no replayability. Honestly those games should be $30 max. Ive played plenty of good short games. Portal and portal 2? I think those are worth the amount.

I agree. Some games have no business being $60. $60 for a game like Skyrim which gives you 100s of hours of gameplay vs maybe a game with a single player game that takes less than 10 hours. How are they both worth the same?

Does anybody go back through and see which rumors they got right? I always thought it would be interesting to go read these articles a year later and see if they got the predictions right.

I was going to buy this for my sons 15th birthday but from reading this article it seems he is too young to play. I will wait until he is 18.
Some other weird things about the internet:
Even when I do test connection, a message still pops up saying "You can connect to Xbox Live, but your current network configuration may limit your online experience."
Also WiFi does not work. We have wifi in the building but Ive tried my xbox and ps3 and its a no go.
Its the way they set up their internet I guess and the settings they use. I do know that just to use the wifi for my iphon...
I can't connect to Live at the moment. Not sure if it has anything to do with this or not.
