Lol at predictable, recurring next gen headline.

This article’s main complaint was that BotW was too unlike a traditional Zelda game and even it didn’t execute that new vision perfectly, it is what I enjoyed most about the game. It strayed from the mostly predictable Zelda formula, the art style was amazing and it offered a sense of exploration unmatched by any of its predecessors. But for the love of God, let the weapons in the sequel last more than 4 hits.

Blizzard is making an Overwatch 1 patch (expansion at best) that you pay for and calling it a sequel. Article is praising the transfer of paid cosmetics but there is no reason Blizzard couldn’t just make a proper sequel AND port over everyone’s cosmetics and licenses.

Ok, and for the cost of a modern gaming PC, I could buy 5 or more PS4 Pros. A Lamborghini costs over $200k, which could pay for 10 other vehicles or a house. If you want the Lamborghini of console controllers, you will pay premium that goes along with it.

If we need an article to remind of the importance of some feature, then it was never important to begin with.

It’s free on Steam as well without the cost of console online services. Also, it’s quite a stretch to say most content is locked behind DLC.

Probably because you’re playing a online game without PlayStation Plus. You can play for free on Steam without the cost of console online services.

False, Shadowkeep is $35. The free version also includes small parts of Forsaken and Shadowkeep.

This was a minimum effort, shameless cash grab. Can you really be that surprised? The player builder from previous titles is probably coming as a MTX.

Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves for having an online service that can’t even compete with 2002 Xbox live.

Probably because it’s now on a console people actually have.

Everything you just said is wrong IMHO.
“More powerful hardware > gimmicks like the Wiiu, Wii, and 720p crap screen Switch.”
Nintendo is filling the lower budget void. I own all consoles and a gaming PC so I can play whatever I want but very few people are able to do that. The Switch is a portable so there is no way to keep the price low while giving it comparable horsepower.

“Nintendo is holding gaming back. Putting the focus on casual, low budget gam...

Excuse me. Is no one going to talk about the amazing jack off gesture? This guy is gold.

No concrete specs unfortunately, but 4x processing power of x1x, gddr 6, ssd with virtual ram, and all gen backwards compatibility is a good start.

Sorry the game is too hard for you. Have you considered Fortnite or Call of Duty?

@Rimeskeem
I own a PS4 and want crossplay with Xbone. What are you talking about?

We can’t even get proper 4K, and there is essentially no such thing as an 8k tv yet. Stupid

As you said, they are single player games. Once they game ships there are no further development costs. Multiplayer games and live service games require ongoing revenue in order to continually support with patches, new content etc. The problem here are publishers/developers having no self control and abusing lootboxes, season passes, etc. and the only reason they continue with it and why it’s getting worse is because a large number of people are opening their wallets With the economy doing be...

Yes, and I would suggest they try selling actual content.

Unfortunately I agree. There is a large correction coming to the industry. Loot box practices have artificially grown the market rapidly and once people cannot stomach them a second more, the whole thing will crash.
