Read the bloody story and see that the title doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Do people really read lately? He's just saying for a designer there is nothing you can't make/design, since there is no next-gen from a designer point of view.
"Realistically you could design next-gen games on old systems and still have a new fresh cool idea, the framerate might be lower and it might not be as visually appealing. You’ll have to make concessions in other places but people like to throw the whole next-gen word out there and to me, and again, maybe ...
He said almost. People really need to read.
Edit: But you are right BlackTar187. A lot of people really love it, but games never appeal to everyone :)
Haha no you aren't ^^ Sorry that my initial response might sounded harsh. But there are so many people here that don't properly read and just start flaming with no good reason (not that you were flaming).
People need to learn how to read. It's a click-bait title. The guy actually really enjoys the game, but just doesn't think it's a game worth playing hours on end (no multiplayer does that for) and he doesn't think it is innovative. Other then that it are all positive points he's bringing across.
Haters gonna hate

Great to see every positive thing about Titanfall getting a shitload of downvotes and every negative thing upvotes. Just shows how hopeless fanboys here are. You guys really are making yourselves look silly and childish.
I really wonder if all the COD lookalike stories would be here if it was being developed by a totally different studio that has nothing to do with COD.
Game looks like a lot of fun to me. Great to see that there is also a lot outside of the l...
Lukas_Japonicus. I know it isn't completely the same; but certain PC's are also more powerful on paper than the next-gen/current-gen (whatever you want to call it) consoles. Yet if you build one with specs a bit better than the PS4/Xbox One, the consoles would come on top due to 'coding closer to the hardware'.
Optimization and the well known "Balance" can make a very big difference. This is why people say "On paper".
This ...
Idd, seems strange to me too.
Glad there are still some sane people here on N4G.
Angels3785: You went full fanboy when you said "PS4 is actually better". Better isn't something to associate when talking about devices that feature different possibilities and games.
You can say that about 2 PCs or different types of Xbox Ones/PS4s/WiiUs when they are being released. But not about different consoles that might cater to different needs/preferences from people.
You can however say that it is "better for you". Since you ...
Lukas_Japonicus, do you really think that MS even gives a shit that the PS3 sold a couple milion more than the Xbox 360 in the end?
All they care about is profit. Selling more is a fanboy ideal that is not that important to them if they make more profit and get their brand forward. Last gen MS made a major strive to catch up to the Playstation Brand in gaming.
It is a terrible thing for them that the start (or months leading to the start) were terrible. And y...
Everybody is 'winning' as long as people enjoy their purchases.
The replies to your comment show that people some people really don't read what you are typing, but instantly want to "bash" on Ryse.
You yourself stated that you really like game but that you want to have more variety in gameplay (which makes it less 'boring'). Then the first reply talks about it like you thought the game wasn't 'boring' in a sense at all.
+ people focus too much on reviews that needed to be done on day 1. I...
He actually is correct though (in a sense).
If you don't like what they are offering simply move on and go on with your life. It's not like everyone is bitching about cameras coming with mobile phones even if you don't need it.
Just buy a PS4 or a Wii U. No use in the constant bickering/bitching. It is what it is and it isn't changing any time soon. You are also paying for a touchscreen, (now somewhat) pointless light and a speaker in the con...
I do hope you are right :)
Why isn't your name Throlololo?
I understand what you mean and I can agree to a (somewhat big) extent. If it doesn't happen this gen, I don't see them betting so much on Kinect next time.
I actually played some Kinect games (not often though). But the times I did with friends we had a lot of fun. I think people to easily dismiss the fun that can be had.
Some games that have been released on the Xbox One actually use Kinect to some degree. And things like fitness/dance games are abs...
I also think they should just keep Kinect. If you don't like the console with it included, simply do not buy the thing. People don't moan about a camera being implemented in a phone or whatever and you also pay for that. It's part of the package and that's what you get.
If they drop it now all they have done is make a weaker console that has it's benefits operational wise (snap etc), but not in the games department. The Kinect, once indie devs finally get ...
I highly doubt that it are Xbox One fanboys, but more the fact that you are saying that transferring gigs per second will only be years away. It is/will be possible; but not widespread and it will cost you a lot of money. It'll take 10+ years (atleast that's my estimate, I'm not knowledgeable though) for it to be affordable.
You make fair points Foxtrot. Don't know why you are getting disagrees. We haven't seen anything from this game yet to properly judge it, which will make it all the more difficult to believe it will be released this year.
It's always possible, but quite unlikely in my opinion.
One can always hope though ^^ But first I hope to see some actual gameplay (hopefully E3) :)
