No sh!t. Resistance was a better Aliens game without trying to be.
This is why the internet is evil. The biggest piece of excrement will always find its defenders, and said defenders will be defended by some 1st amendment thumping diehard who forgets opinions can be WRONG. Liking crap is fine, just have the presence of mind to recognize its crap.
As long as it eventually comes I really don't care. The setup seems so intriguing and I have so many other things to do, I can wait another year or two. Just don't make this a versus situation and alls forgiven.
No disrespect to Insomniac, but anything can become a franchice. Regardless of quality, if it turns a profit, sequels are inevitable.
Don't forget the moon, star, sun and planet affinities. I found using those also made battle more managable.
Change the l2 and r2 back to their original forms so I don't get pinched and I'll be happy.
I remember a dream use, dreamers some dream coming first, but what do I know of facts or history?
@sevir
When was "I hate" ever used to describe how I felt about the game? Never. Moving on. What I feel has no merit is your description of why " true fans" are angry. Change. Change is a double edge sword, on one hand it can be for the better, improving what was lackluster prior and implementing better ideas. On the other, it can degrade what was once great into something mediocre, tarnishing something that didn't need change in the first place. Change isn'...
@calis
So are you saying crap may actually be delectable? We all may just be missing out because of some stupid metaphor? LOL
Also if you think TCM needed to be remade, thumbs don't belong in your butt.
@vile
I agree with you on the supposed true fan feeling they know all and if you don't agree you were never a fan. Your right and "silly" is the tip of the iceberg, but what I'm saying is the term "true fan" has merit. Simply liking something doesn't make you a fan, it's the dedication and devotion that does. As has been said time and time again, if the name had been any other random thing, this whole conversation would never happen and the "tr...
I'm in agreement on how good it is. I was very apprehensive to the idea of GOW going online, but this works, more so than I would have thought. as long as the hit detection and lag gets worked out, I will pour hours into the online. A thing I never imagined saying for a GOW game.
Who didn't foresee this game getting high scores? I for one did and don't plan on changing my views based on the opinions of people payed to give them. when reviews stop being opinion based is when I'll give a toss about them.
@vile
You kidding me? Have you used the brain you were given? You act as if the dislike or "hate" as you put it is unjustified. The game is an affront to what the series is based on. "true fans" recognize this because of a little thing I like to call experience. The past has shown us what a true DMC game is and as far as im concerned only casual players of the past games see what's been done as "okay".
Edit: yes, my interest is pique...
Are you serious? This is a question you really needed to ask? I would have to say you arent since this abortion of a franchise peeks your interest. Since all the regression is nonexistent to you. Tell me, would a true fan of Texas chainsaw massacre fan be weary of the remakes or put thumb firmly in ass and say " I'll give it a chance"? A true fan would know the answer.
I live in a world where "not all that bad" means it was bad, just not terribly, or, not horrible but unpleasant. RE6 was bad, not all that bad, but bad nonetheless so shades of grey change nothing. Black, white or purple something being " not good" is just that.
So now being "not that bad" is a good thing? Not that bad still means bad and RE6 was just that.
Clover made godhand, not platinum. Hell P* didn't even exist yet.
When did I say they didn't?
Was hoping for some well, dunno... Insight, on I dunno...reasons. I dunno, I, like dunno, perspective on comments.
And what made up website did you imaginary visit to pull that out of your ass.
