UHM... wow man, lets see... I already have a 3DS where I can get similar experience in games, sure the Wii U version is better, but for the occasional Mario fix I am not gonna waste money on a gimped home console.

Mario Kart 7 is pretty decent, I will wait and see how SSB works out on 3DS but hey it will be fun most likely.

well my issue is that I have a 3DS, so If I want to play Mario kart is can buy Mario kart 7, they are making super smash bros for 3ds and a lot of the virtual console games are on there as well...

So it kinda fulfills my need for a wii u

I played it at my cousins house. very good game. only game aside from smash bros I would get a wii u for.

if we could just get 5 solid years before announcing new consoles and then a year wait till they launch, that will make me happy because this generation will have a solid 6 year life.

I think the only console life cycle that felt too short was the original xbox but what can you do when you start so late in a generation :/

@akuma

where did you hear that they were scanning football players?

Also I agree I think 2K will come back or another franchise might be announced at E3.

The money to be made in the NFL market I think is too much to be ignored, someone has to make another football game in the next year or so.

probably not, the dev team that worked on the glorious 2k5 prob are not together anymore.

2014 is shaping up to be a decent transition year for the new consoles. we are getting some decent exclusives this year, good multi plats.

2015 looks to be probably the year that defines this new generation. I mean... the amount of AAA games slotted for 15' is mind blowing...

Uhm not side stepping, the first one was 30 FPS and there was no reason to expect this one to be 60 FPS especially for he type of game it is.

The fact that DC is 30 FPS for a closed course game is probably why it gets scrutinized. The fact Sony fans are coming out in force to use Horizon 2 as justification for a closed course racer that is exclusive to the most "Powafulz console evaz" to be 30 FPS is beyond me. its like comparing A...

I don't understand why they are being compared. Is DC a open world game that has civilian traffic as well as other racers traveling an open world all at the same time with?

the only think that makes them similar is they are 30 FPS, and if Forza Horizon 2 can look just as good as a course racing game like DC but in a open world I think that would be a great technical achievement...

DC is an open world driving game?

4400d ago 24 agree11 disagreeView comment

For a game like Forza Motorsport and Gran turismo 60 FPS is a must. but since this is an open world game, a locked and non stuttering 30 FPS will still provide a great experience along with full 1080P and next gen effects.

This is 100% acceptable and expected. the first one was the same Locked at 30 FPS and it still was a blast to play plus I can still remember how thrilling it was to take my viper on a long stretch of highway with a friend and race down at top speed and see who could avoid traffic the longest oh man it was so exhilarating!

I cannot wait to get my hands on Horizon 2, I need to finish the last bit of the first Horizon but I love the game and this one looks like its going to be ...

Well we know some high profile games have been postponed to 2015 so the next couple years are looking good.

I am talking about Halo 5 and Quantum Break.

this year should be fun... I would be estatic for a crimson skies sequel... im trying not to get my hopes up but damn that would be cool! or mech assault! Oh my dreams are going to be squashed ina couple weeks :(

@foxtrot @choujij

Well just because Don took over doesn't mea that he can take all the credit for games and the good things xbox division was already doing in 07-08, so looking at the history it was around 09-10 where Dons Kinect and casual initiative probably went into effect (affect? never know which one to use lol).

My point still stands and in the end im agreeing with you the last few years the Xbox division under horrible management screwed the pooc...

Ok, as far as their "track" record. From the original xbox till about four years ago (again when they had don mattrick and a few other higher ups with no clue what to do with the xbox division in charge) their track record was great...

I agree with everyone that the last few years sucked. but I am excited to see this E3 and see that they officially turned it around. I think other than the DRM issue they had a good E3 last year as well. So to me their track record ha...

Oh now anyone who is excited or happy with Microsoft's new direction are immediately blind and ignorant wow.

I show enthusiasm because I do like Xbox and I wasn't a huge fan of earlier decisions but now that there is a shift to what I like im excited. That does not mean if Microsoft tried the DRM and other things again I would look the other way.

the only thing I disagree is the overbearing negativity you produce on anything Xbox. Which you have stat...

u mad bro?

At least Microsoft was smart (because they are not stupid, your words not mine) enough to finally put someone like Phil in this position because up until last year they have been fumbling every single decision regarding the Xbox division. I see you on a lot trying to deride the positive momentum that Xbox is now finally getting.

no one cares as much as you about why Microsoft put Phil in charge it only matters that they made the right choice finall...

true but it is still good that Microsoft went with him and did not choose another guy like Don Matrrick (sp?) to lead the charge.

Shows that Microsoft are at least trying...
