They did show it at GDC... It just sucked and so the media biasedly chooses not to talk about it. That's really what's going on here. Natal sucked. Bad. Everyone knows it and everyone is affraid to speak out about it because of Microsoft. Sony's "MOVE" on the otherhand... It's open season on it. Let's bash it to hell because it was actually functional and did what Sony said it could do.
As I said many times... I beat GOW3 in 14 hours over the weekend after our GDC trip. I'm happy with it. To me, and I'm not even really finished-finished with it, it wasn't an 8 hour game. We still have Arena, Challenge and trophies to master. Plus, as we reported months ago, GOW3 is getting a multiplayer Gladiator mode. Bank it. 100%

Look out team ICO? Why should they do anything? This looks nothing like ICO - SOTC or their latest. And certainly a multiplatform game won't capture the brilliance of the above either. All due in part to the limitations of the xbox 360's hardware and lack of storage.

What does this mean? It took me 14 hours to beat GOW3. I took my time. Played when I knew I was going to be interrupted. I got the trophies I could get and I enjoyed it.
I can beat Super Mario Bro's for the nes in 4min and 35 seconds without dying on my best speed run. But does it prove anything? I'm still not the fastest at it. Don't read this article... It spoils many of the games facets for you all. He did get a few things wrong, though. It was probably intentional to make the game look worse than it really is but still.

There's a difference being a spectator and actually participating. I've played all 3 now and I'm here to say with 100% certainty, Natal sucks. Bad. It might sound cool... It might even be displayed cool by Microsoft in those mock up videos. But it's anything but what you really get.

I didn't run through it, I admit. I tried to obtain everything and most of the trophies 1st run thru. I didn't get like 15 still, though. That's what I'm going back and doing now. I think it could be beat in under 10, honestly but it doesn't matter. It's the best experience yet this gen. Not even U2 can compete with it...
Why should we compare greatness to a pile of forgettable horse $hit like Bayonetta? We shouldn't. I've played both... Just beat GOW3 over the weekened and there is nothing to compare here.
GOW 3 has better graphics. Better story. Better physics. Better textures. Better, more accessible gameplay. Better level design. It has everything Bayonetta doesn't... It even has a better name.
End it. Bayonetta sucks the donkey and GOW3 doens't.
What I loved about GOW3 was how much fun it was to play and boot up. I loved the 1st one. I didn't care much for the 2nd one. But the 3rd one was an absolute dream... It solidifies the Ps3 as "THE" system to have. When you stack all the other games that you cannot get anywhere else next to GOW3, the PS3 stands above and beyond the comp.

I liked the controller myself. I liked what the possibilities of it are, over the wii. Playing a game with "MOVE" albeit they were mainly concepts and early proto's, it was a change of pace. And keep in mind, the reps we spoke with at Sony all said this isn't changing the fact that the DS3 is still viable and relevant. Sony made it very clear that they are never going to drop support of the DS3 in favor of... They said that "MOVE" is just another alternative to breath ...
We enjoyed Mod Nation Racer for what it was and what we got to play of it. It's not a bad idea for Sony to lobby this title against a Mario Kart for the set crowd but I think, from what we gather, Nintendo is working on something very similar too. It might become a victim of its own success and work. Verdicts out still.
During GDC I talked to several "real" journalist... I'm not a real one. Just a blogger, by the way. But the conciseness among all them was that they've all set Uncharted 3 up to fail. They said, well the vast majority of the people we spoke with, there is no way Uncharted 3 can live up to the expectations the industry is putting on Naughty dog.
And that's sad... But from what we know U3 is defiantly going to be more diverse than the previous two. The Cruise Lin...
Insomniac isn't going anywhere this gen. We got word 100% confirmed. That doesn't rule out a future endeavor, though. As for their next IP. It's a horror game. It's exclusive to the Ps3.
And to add to your statement, Penny. Resistance 2 wasn't as good as Resistance 1 for me. It lacked gritty realism found in the 1st one. It lacked focus too. The graphics, to me, were a bit weaker in some areas. The textures mainly.
As for R&CACIT, I love the serie...
Last reports we've seen were closer to 700,000... More along the lines of 650,000 to be exact. Doesn't matter. It's set to hit 1 million in sales 2 days out from release. We think it'll land about 2 million for the 1st month of release.

KZ2's controls, I'm not going to say they're good or bad, are just very heavy feeling. It doesn't feel like any FPS on the market to me. It feels different. I don't like how you can't adjust the layouts for the controls to "your" liking, rather a preset the DEv's have made for you. But still, at the end of the day, KZ2 made good on 97% of its promises.
GOW 3, by the way, does look better than both Uncharted 2 or KZ2. It really does. I just completed it, finally,...
