Once August and September start getting close expect to see Halo 3 everywhere. It'll probably be the most hyped game in history. We haven't even begun to see the hype that M$ will generate for this game. It's their ace-in-the-hole and they know it. They're hoping this will deal a death blow to Sony. Who knows if they can pull it off.
Truthfully I know no one who actually wants to buy a PS3 in the near future, or the future at all for that matter.

I have to agree with you. Everyone is saying that there are so many people sitting on the fence waiting to buy a PS3. I really don't think thats the case. Among all the people I know, no one wants to buy a PS3. No one is even considering it. People just plain don't like it for the most part. But I'll ask them if their getting a console, their reply will be "Yea I'm getting a 360 soon, or a Wii!".
Who knows, maybe Sony can pick things up if they get some good software...
Lol I don't know if that Ultra-Hi Def is going to be available to the average consumer anytime in the near future, actually anytime this decade. Without compression those vids take up like 120 GB per second. And with compression it was still like 250 something MB. All I'm saying is that from what I read the technology hasn't caught up with it yet.
Yea the WW2 FPS genre is getting very stale. Unless they come back with a new angle or something innovative, I won't be buying or renting another WW2 FPS.

This is a real life driving simulator. I owned all previous Gran Turismos and Forza 2 blows them all away. I'm talking about gameplay physics alone, Forza wins. HD DVD has a good chance of winning this thing. They're definatley the underdog though. Porn will have an impact on this race I beleive, and Sony's refusal to support porn won't help the BR camp.
