WTF has anyone else noticed that the Halo 3 "hottness meter" has capped off at 80560, even though all these reviews have been released and are being heated up quite a bit I'm sure.
Does N4G not want Halo 3 to break 100,000 as I'm sure it would without the heat cap.
I guess it's making every other game look bad since it's about 4 times hotter than the next game, being Heavenly Sword at about 22,000.

I love CoD4 Beta, I was just playing it a few min ago. The autoaim in CoD4 is ridiculous. Much more noticeable than Halo MP.

I could see Bungie making MP games after this. "Halo: Arena", or something like it. I would buy. Since that's where 95% of the fun of Halo titles have been is in the MP.

I don't remember reading anything about mediocre singleplayer. Just maybe it's 'short'. By that meaning 10-12 hours on Heroic, or less if your playing on an easier difficulty.
How did Timesplitters ever score well then? Timesplitters practically had no single player. Yet it scored well.
Did the reviewers lose credibility then?
I'd say 10-12 hours on Heroic difficulty is average length for a shooter right?
Maybe I'm wrong but most shooters I've ever played take about that long to complete.
Keep in mind Normal is for people that don't play FPS's, while Easy is for people who straight up don't play games.
Well I'd like to congratulate all that made this possible.

Despite a few moments of slowdown, this is a gorgeous game, especially considering the demands of the replay function. And it's to die for in 1080p.
I believe I read a little while ago that you'd eat your hat if IGN didn't give Halo 3 10/10...?

This game is so sweet.
But the whole comment about being armed with the most modern weapons is untrue.
A lot of the weapons in this game are decades old. Ak-47, G3, M60, RPD, M14, MP44(WTF). Those are only a few that I know of. There aren't any of those crazy weapons you see on futureweapons, like that one .45 submachine gun that has massive penetration power...
All I know is i gotta have that helmet from the new viDoc.
The guy who gets sniped as the camera pans around him. It looks like an Armored Core head. By far the coolest looking helmet IMO.

A review is entitled to his opinion. It's not like 85% is a low score folks.
Every other review is much higher, and this game is scoring as good if not better than BioShock.
Thats a great game IMO.
But all the reviews could have been bad. Me and +2 mil others would have still picked this one up.
