That's exactly whats wrong with PSN and why it isn't considered a more hardcore route. For competitive play, mics are crucial. I HATE getting on PSN and I'm trying to win with communication and it sounds like a barren wasteland. There's nothing more frustrating to a competitive hardcore player.

Agreed. I was pissed when I found out that Uncharted 2 didn't allow that. I still destroy people online all well and good but there were some things that I'd love to swap right off the bat.
Reason being, it doesn't allow me to play with my cross battle adapter to try with my 360 controller. All I need to do is be able to swap L1 with L2 and R1 with R2. I'd be gold after that. And rape would ensue online.

A lot of their games are played on a pro level. Halo and Gears are MLG games. They wouldn't give that up for anything. Yeah Natal is coming but why do people think that MS is only going to push forward with that medium and forget about their controller that is preferred by a LOT of gamers (especially for shooters).
It's still up to the developers. Microsoft is not making Natal a requirement for developers to release games on their system. That's moronic.
