I totally agree, many sources expect a 2016 release, but reading between those lines, they will introduce the system to the public next year for a 2017 release.
The key is to get various 3rd parties to partner up with Nintendo to produce all those games, in return, have those 3rd parties release their multiplats on the NX, genius!

This article is poor, it seems like it's based on what's already been announced, we all know E3 can be won with one big unexpected reveal.
Xbox for 199 wasn't fake, it was the Madden bundle, it was just hard to find stores that had them, at the same time they were selling Titanfall (with kinect) bundles half off too which ended up at 250, which I happened to snag, so I know first hand.
It has nothing to do with any failing by Microsoft, the actual story of the target sale was, they were clearing limited edition items for new stock, Smash Bros 3ds's and PS4 white headsets were half off too.

Just as a point of interest, I recently attended a Smash Bros Best Buy event, not one single 'kid'. Teens and upwards only.
As stupid as this sounds, how long it's supported for won't matter too much, I'll get it!
Seriously though, the experience you have using VR is enough to sell it, most who try, will buy. VR as an innovation, is more of a killer app than motion control and 3D.

Not to doubt your facts, because VGC numbers can be a guess at best, but where does it say that the Wii U only sold 60,000? Everything I find says specific numbers haven't been released.

It's a common complaint against Nintendo, rehashes of old IP, ALL companies would kill for Nintendo's IP and would milk them more than the big N does.
