"While this doesn't crop up much in the arcade versions of the game, the need to aim off screen to look around in the first-person story mode seems to exasperate this issue."
if it doesn't happen in the arcade mode(light gun gaming) then why isn't Move "ideal for light gun titles"? i must be missing something here.
but i never played 2, and sold my PS2 many moons ago. :(
same here. Sorcery is the only game that looked interesting because of motion controls. other good games may use motion, but non are better because of it (RUSE maybe?) if the game turns out good i may make my purchase then.
agree. thats the feeling i came away with from the demo. still, i do want to have a play through, because the story and acting is where Ninja Theory really get things right.
can't help but think this as some sort of karma(silly i know). i don't want them or this game to fail, but all the Sony bashing and complaining about HS sales kind of got on my nerves.
i still think its video game pricing that hurts tittles like Enslaved. $60+ for one game is a ...
8 isn't a bad or OK score; its a rather good score. if 8 is only OK, then why have 0-7? all we need is a 1-3 scale. 1=bad, 2=OK, 3=good. i don't even know who to be upset with anymore. is this the reviewers or gamers fault?
just like to say that i am a Fable hater.
you're missing the point. MS is demoing Kinect using the most optimal conditions, and a lot of what i've seen from said conditions isn't great. what people really want to know is how it works in everyday real world situations. a lot of people here believe this is where the Kinect will fail, and the reviewers will stress these points.
i myself don't care how well Kinect does. same with the Move. both need to show games that appeal to me. neither have shown or b...
i look for 1-2 years, but i get what you're saying.
i would also add the pricing. just allow me to rent a game for $5 for a week. just a pure renting service i would be more inclined to use Onlive. with $5+ only giving you 3 days of renting, and paying full price is just stupid with the setup.
they need more games and better pricing(cheap renting service).
yeah you guys get Vagrant Story. :(
lol
im still laughing at the Vuvuzelas. hahahahaha.
i agree with age being a proble, with Fillion. he doesn't seem have the body type to play Drake anymore. Fillion is perfect in all other aspects though.
the battle system was my favorite part of the game. i enjoyed the fast paced strategy of it. would like the auto to be taken out to add more tension to the battles, and battles be better setup to take advantage of the paradigm system.
the big problem with a sequel is the fact that the story wasn't very interesting. i enjoyed the mythos of the world. wouldn't even have a problem with linearity if it was better paced with continuously interesting set pieces and story p...
now all they need is more interesting set pieces and better end boss/mission than R2.
it wasn't just the lack of weapon wheel and regenerative health that caused R2 to be a disappointment. a lot of the story and mission where less than stellar in R2; especially the end boss. hope the Insomniac can bring back some of the magic that R:FoM SP had, and improve on their Co-Op features from R2.
it would be nice, but Sony would have to make some kind of splitter to allow an in and out for the cable/dish box.
still would like the other features even if the actual tv feature wasn't implemented.
at&t compared to Comcast in my area sucks. tried switching over a year or two back when Comcast sucked at delivering HD channels, but had to wait 2 weeks without cable or internet. then AT&T made some mistake and told me we would have to wait another 3 weeks. i told them to piss off, and went back to Comcast. who by the way came out the very next day.
Cable quality is about the same for both, but internet speeds are much better with Comcast. U-Verse fastest internet s...
the one that agrees with you. duh!!!
thats not what he said at all. he said he would rather play it on easy just for the unique experience. as of right now Kinect is no where as accurate, so it wouldn't be a better option. it would just be a different one some may want to experience.
i dont think i've ever heard it described as "cornbag". cornhole, baggos and bags yes, but not cornbags. haha. i do agree, though i think it would be hard to simulate the spin i like to put on the bag when i throw.
surprised some people are falling for this poorly constructed article. either people aren't really looking what this guy is saying or they are fanboys looking to bash Sony for something. hoping for former, because i see a lot of people who bash fanboys who are falling for this.
1.twitter post with no info. turns into Sony stating "shipped" not sold.
2.PSP owning DS is all early trending sales in US and PR spin. no lie.
3.$1200 was stupid PR spin...
