Wasn't there just an article that killed the rumor of this happening? Now it's happening again? WTF?! This is only MS lineup, how many games did MS publish last year? What like 5? Yet the 360's lineup killed every one else's, so before you dismiss the 360s lineup wait until E3 and the third party announcements, and I may be talking like this about the 360 but I mean it on all fronts, PS3 and to a lesser extent the Wii, just wait until all the cards are on the table for 08 before you dismiss any lineups.

But this story is crazy, it seems like game related crimes are just out of control this year.
but I really don't care for it too much and in my opinion doesn't deserve the ratings, it's an ok game, nothing incredible to me, now Ninja Gaiden 2 is incredible, at least it is to me, see, we all have different tastes and opinions, I like NG2, some would say MGS 4 and so on, so it's not hip to hate GTA, I actually think they should ask "Why is it hip to overhype GTA?" that is the bigger issue here.
Those were problems I had too, especially the driving, but yeah, this game isn't a 10 by any means, now what is that gonna say for game ratings now since they rated this game perfect? I dunno, I really don't know.

lets talk sanely for just a minute, sure the 360 fanbase is bigger but that doesn't mean every 360 fan will buy it, heck I doubt 8% of the base buys it and as sad as that is to me it is closer to the truth than your statement, at least in my opinion.

It looks to me like the brightness is too high on the 360 version of the game, looks like sabotage to me GT, I mean really, I have seen no game look that faded, no matter who made it or how bad it is, the tv settings are clearly better on the PS3 video.

Ok, so about a month ago I picked up Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and if I remember correctly the total price was like $12.00 for all three.
This is sad.
Not being one of them but when NG first came out I remember hearing an outcry from people who had a hell of a time passing the first boss and lots of them returned the game for being too hard, which is unfortunate because it was one of the best games of last gen, but yeah, I think low sales were due to difficulty.
FYI it was not hard at all, it just took a bit of effort, which nobody wanted to do, they were mad they couldn't press the win button over and over.
