The only people who wouldn't care about a price cut by now are the ones who already have PS3's.
You could just use an achievements hack which valve doesn't even ban you for. Some of the achievements are next to impossible to get if you play on your favorite server.

PS3 selling more in UK/Europe is a given. If anything, people bought it for better controls on PS3.
If I remember correctly the top men involved in rare left as soon as they were sold. MS got shafted in talent, so all they bought were IPs.
