I'm just shocked G4 said that, they hate the PS3.
This is a step forward for digital distribution. Weren't there plenty of UMD haters at the begining of the PSP's launch? Maybe they'll like this one.
UMD was meant to be proprietary anyway, but that didn't prevent piracy. However, this is a step in the right direction. Now we will get to see smaller games developed for cheap prices online.
You know what, you're right. We can take the loss of one person, this person being Kojima. We can replace him with another director and the game will be just fine! Anyone know if Uwe Boll directs for video games? It would be awesome to have him be apart of it!!!
See what I did there? :|
In terms of Natal vs Sony's Motion tech, I think Sony's wins simply because it has buttons. The Wii works just fine with it as well.
Kojima is basically saying this game is instant-fail without him directing it. He's even gone to say Peace Walker will be a true MGS game.
Whether or not this thing will last depends on developer support, same goes for Natal.
Twitter, god damn it.
Announcements on twitter about secret announcements are annoying.
"We're releasing a green 360 bundled with Halo 3 ODST!"
:|
Some people just don't get it. This release of the PSP is going to co-exist with the PSP-3000. If you can't get your gaming releases online for some reason, you get the PSP-3000. This is for those who will go for digital distribution all the way. Please don't give the "DD will fail if its not Apple or Nintendo" crap either.
On every clean install of XP I install firefox, doesn't make a difference to me. I either use IE once or never if I saved the install.
Just wait till its gets out to the public, it will grow on people.
They removed the GBA slot on the DSi and people still bought it. Now they remove the UMD slot on the PSP and people make articles about non-tech savvy people being confused.
Be that as it may, it's still a PSP with developer support.
This is pretty much what they do after they release a couple of bombed exclusives on the 360. They'll keep going back and forth if their games keep sucking.
That just makes prototype more Generic :\
I don't think the old system had any real flaws. All you had to do was unlock achievements to get your weapons. The only problem was that Valve didn't mention that when you play the game, so some people didn't know how to unlock them.
I'd much rather play THPS 2 on my Dreamcast.
They should have announced it at next year's E3, so this Milo software can actually match things like voice recognition.
