As someone who's currently playing the game and enjoying it, I can say this review has some spot on points about the game. I probably won't think it's a 6/10 when I finish it, but I understand why others will find it lackluster.
It really feels more gorefest action/horror than actual horror, and that's fine with me. There's just too many recycled horror tropes so far for this to even compare to the likes of Dead Space 1/2, Siren BC, etc.

Of course this title was doomed the second it was a Wii U exclusive. I'm thinking it'll have even worse sales than the first game...And the first game's sales weren't hot.
Having said that, I enjoyed the first title. Beat it on all difficulties, but it isn't special enough for me to suffer a Nintendo controller, just to play it.

While this is by no means ground breaking. It still looks like one of the most exciting titles so far on next gen consoles imo.

Bloody Crapcom. Nothing new for ages. However I really enjoyed the latest DMC and Dragon's Dogma to an extent.
Everyone cries when Crapcom literally rehashes SF & SFxT content, but Crapcom literally RE-RELEASES A F***ing GAMECUBE game (RESI-EVIL 1), and they're praised for "contributing" to survival horror.

Unfortunately nothing I've seen or read about this game is remotely scary imo. I really do hope it's not 8+ hours of hide & seek plus scripted events, because so far, that's all I've been seeing.
Lmao I feel soo sorry for people who support CRAPCOM's rubbish antics. Only reason anyone gave a damn about REVELATIONS is because fans are desperate for anything close to a decent RE game. I just finished REVELATIONS and bloody hell where do I even start? Awful monster/character design, tedious, NOT scary at all.

Having played MADWORLD myself. It's a decent game with excellent presentation and a shallow combat system. Still enjoyable for its length. Why it never got ported is beyond me.
Secondly ANARCHY REIGNS is HARDLY a sequel to MADWORLD. it barely even plays like madworld, apart from the fact that it's a brawler in the same universe...
