Varric is one of the reasons I enjoyed DA2 so much.

I didn't really care for ME3's multiplayer.

Well that seems like his point. Nintendo has never made cinematic games like MGS or Uncharted and what not. Nintendo has always been about gameplay first, then sprinkled bits of cinematics second.

I would bet the awesome soundtrack is still in. But, my guess is no fast paced action packed battles. Seems like it will be much slower paced than your average Platinum title.

Millions still play it quite regularly. And it's starting to boom even more with the expansion hitting in 2 weeks.

I've never played any Battlefront game in third person. Well except when you're a Jedi, or in vehicles.
