let the hype build!!! this game will be hyped regardless of what is posted on N4G, you know that all the hardcore fans are either playing WoW or STILL playing diablo2. I see this as an opportunity to swing narrow minded (and sadly a lot less technically proficient) console gamers to the PC scene. N4G is full of console fanboys. I for one love my ps3 but but i have always been a PC gamer at heart. I started with CS and then to d2 then to war3 and now i'm finally enjoying the major console rele...
remember what happens to multiplat games? longer development cycles. i own a ps3 but i WOULDN't mind shelling out some cash on a PC/Mac for a game of this caliber. diablo 2 was amazing to me, and i expect no less from diablo 3. I want this game ASAP, and i'm glad it's not coming to the 360 or the ps3.
i really don't know what to expect. If you aren't sure what the graphics will look like, look at starcraft 2. i don't see them straying too far away from that engine.

i hope this is diablo III related. oh man, i'm gettin goosebumps just thinking about it. *imagines the effects that fire and ice will have together in the diablo world*
hmm... if 2.4 includes in-game music i will be pleasantly surprised. I believe that sony will leave this aspect up to the developer to implement as different producers feel differently towards the importance of their own soundtracks and how they add to the feel/atmosphere during game play. I'm lovin Kojima's addition of the ipod into MGS4, brilliant... here's to a future update that will actually let me play songs from my hard drive.

nope it doesn't upscale SD games to 1080p... most ps2 games don't even support widescreen resolutions.

beeeeeeyaaaaaaah, been waiting for this announcement! i have held off playing bioshock for this very reason. woot woot
look at those lighting effects. i love the harsh contrast of the white and reddish light whilst playing... and the smoke effects. damn. i thought that COD had awesome smoke grenades but the mist looks so fine and semi-opaque in KZ2, it blows everything i've seen out of the water
regardless of video quality the poly counts look really low on everything. I'm sure they are showing footage of the multiplayer build built for testers where mechanics are more important. In terms of the scoring system, HUD, and pacing it looks like something that can get really competitive.

everyone should realize that not many games are hyped up as much as GTA4. Obviously reviewers were anxious to release their scores, and as a multiplat it gives them more reason to. 10/10 for graphics because it trumps every other sandbox game in all graphical categories... detail, size, models, textures, physics.
