The graphical update for Killzone 3 may be marginal, but it still looks fantastic. It's not going to be as drastic as you think.
You forget that a lot of hdtv's are already capable of doing 3d. It's getting around time for the people who bought hdtv's 4-5 years ago to get new ones, since the life span of theses things is about that time.
Obviously your a fan of Xenogears, I am too. I think it's tied with FF7 for Square's best game. It's an over used story now. All I know is the Nfl, and EA needs the 2k series to come back purely for the competition. Madden has been getting quite stagnant with each new release. I would love to play an NFL game that wasn't Madden!

I don't know what you're talking about, but I wish the game developers would put in mouse and keyboard support for the consoles. Fps's are more intuitive with the Mouse and Keyboard control scheme. Controllers have come a long way, but they're nowhere near the percision of a mouse.
@dude I haven't played the beta, so I would'nt know. That's just ridiculous, how the hell can you tell whats going on in 4 player split-screen? I have a 50 inch tv, and I don't think that's big enough for me to ebjoy split-screen.
@stick the problem with what you mention is that bungie didn't pioneer any of that, but rather incorporated the tech into their games. The only thing I know that bungie pioneered was the removing of the health bar, but that is gameplay mechanics. I don't see any developers talking about tech bungie has pioneered for the industry.

You could make the argument that Nintendo has repeadtedly said they are not competeing against Sony or Microsoft, which would exclude them from the console war. I agree with you though to say that Sony is winning is ludicrous, Though I feel they will at least get second.
