Petitioning to have her fired is a bit ridiculous, but this does deal with the bigger issue of game journalism. If you read her review in the opening paragraph "she" mentions misogyny. which makes it seems like she is bringing personal baggage to the review. I had a 49 year old woman read it, and she came to the same conclusion for a "stupid video game." a review is not suppose to an opinion, it is suppose to be a critique, with no baggage.
@creatchee there is no hard evidence to dispel the claim either. I don't really know what kind of "hard" evidence Someone will be able to provide this they bought another 360, because theirs rrod and they couldn't wait for their replacement. Remember common sense does not apply to gamers. In my experience gamers well do anything to get their fix, especially for one specific game they have been looking forward to.
The nsa doesn't take over the camera, but they can recieve the data the kinect has gathered from Microsoft, which is what they've been doing in the past. They've also recieved data from Google, and other americqn companies.
Why don't you try the three month version? It's only $17.99.
Deadman wonderland is also shounen. http://www.mangafox.com/man...
Give it a read and tell me if that's the correct age group for it.
and on 7 after 5 gb, the rest of the ram just goes to the video card. In actuality you don't need more than 4 gb.
actually it's not. I bought one and all it is is an analog stick adapter, not a true mouse.
Yeah they would, because they would have them sign some sort of contract, and who in their right minds ever try to sabotage their line of income.
@scissors I think they do extend their help, but the problem still comes down to the quality of programmers. It seems to me Sony'a first party developers seem to have most of the best Programmers in the industry, and it's much easier to cooperate inter-house than it is out of house. Not to mention you don't want to give out your trade secrets out of house either. I don't think they extended their hands to Activision though, Bobby allways talks shit on them.
bubbles for you mr magoo.
@catguykyou So I'm suppose to believe that a company going out of buisness is going to take the time to unlock all of their existing games because they promised, c'mon. I use steam, I like it, but digital distribution is still a long ways off from being the main source of distribution. I still rather get physical copies of games, then download them. The games I usally get from dd are usually on sale i.e. l4d2 for $18, same for borderlands etc, etc. That is the only factor that will ma...
1280x1080 is higher then 1080p.
Correction- oh wait that's right.
I'm glad I got one of the last 80gigs, with ps2 support.
the ps3 does have backwards compatibility with the ps1. The other os ability, a very small percentage used that. they took it away, who cares? I don't see the 360 offering that ever. the point of the article is it sucks for the early adopters, that's it. There's no denying it. This is such an increase in features from the launch, that it probably makes most early adopters wish they waited until now to buy a 360. It took microsoft 5 years to make the console's base hardware com...
Pretty good Podcast.
I'm interested in the game mechanics more than the gameplay.
Kinect is a little more sophisticated than the eyetoy or web camera. Kinect'sicrophone array enables the Xbox 360 to conduct acoustic source localization and ambient noise suppression, which is usaully a expensive quality in a microphone. Kinect consists of an infrared projector combined with a monochrome CMOS sensor, and allows the sensor to see in 3D under any lighting conditions. These Features don't come in standard cameras.
I don't see the cost to build kinect $70, I would think it was at least double that.
I'm thankful for electricity, which allows me to play video games. Also, J.J. Abrams and my ps4.
