I'm not a PC person so I didn't get to play the original maps, but I'm really interested to see how it plays in the new game.

In addition to number plates and Vinewood there are however stores signs with the locations 'Los Santos' and Freeway signs for Los Puerta and ‘Little Soel” similar to the Koreatown of L.A.
Really, it's quite possible the game features BOTH locations.
You are indeed correct! I'm hoping it's a two part thing; having some opening time spent in Los Santos before moving into San Andreas or even the other way around with missions backtracking to Los Santos.

Alas, I think they like going for the "bad guy trying to redeem himself" angle. But maybe if we're lucky there will be another interesting (read: freakin crazy) character like Brucie to keep us entertained!

Some are good points, others are neither here nor there imo.
Big deal the main character isn't on box art; especially using the 007 game as an example. It's not great artwork, but it's not bad.
The wholesale games are also, while terrible terrible excuses for games, not exactly box art sin. Rather than note the box art component, they should be regarded as a whole; absolutely #$%^ games. On that note I have a confession... I have scratched every Phoenix ga...
These just look like game wallpapers that have been stuck on the box.
Just because they're pretty in general, doesn't mean they have what it takes to be boxart (although I'm sure some would be great as special editions). Although that's not to say there haven't been some atrocious attempts at box art.
The quality of all the masks is pretty good eh!
