I guess I mean more in the sense of not taking it in. Just running in, grabbing the Electric Charge Gun, and then heading out.
This isn't a room that you do justice by giving it a quick scan and heading out. It's a pretty neat room that you should devote a larger amount of time to.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Haha.
No. Even the people that don't like it don't usually go as far as to say it's a deal breaker. That's jumping the gun. It's a damn fun game and just cruising Gotham in the Batmobile is still pretty fun.
@GC
Yeah. I'm very excited for the Batgirl story DLC. I'm halfway tempted to pick up the Season pass. I'm not big on them, but I really like what this game is bringing to the table and I'll be buying the three story DLC's.
That would be awesome! I don't know how many people would actually dive into it, but it's a cool idea. Like a living encyclopedia of sorts. Between that and actually having the criminals and Most Wanted, GCPD is pretty damn awesome to explore.
No one is arguing they're the best in those categories (although software is up to personal taste). They have the best IP's, the best characters, and the best handheld library.
They just have to work on their hardware, and unfortunately, hardware is the most important. The Wii U isn't holding a candle to the PS4 and Xbox One in sales and it's been out longer. If the NX can be a powerful machine, that welcomes easy development for third parties, then I'll b...
I'm glad you agree. Hopefully I didn't come off too negative in this piece. I enjoy Nintendo's work, but this is just a bit too much for me.
I want to say Pokken Tournament is an arcade game to will eventually make its way to the console scene? I think I had read that somewhere.
OT: I do agree that Nintendo needs some fresh faces facing towards the public.
I'm glad I'm not coming off as a dick here. Like I said in the comment above to KG, Nintendo has killer IP's and I love their characters, but I just don't know why they're acting like they're on some sort of high horse here.
Thanks man. Like you pointed out from the article, I love Nintendo's work, but with them in this spot, I just can't support that criticism. I think their time should be spent on fixing their own problems, not pointing out those from the competition.
It's sad too. I've seen a handful of people turn south after they a job working with a big outlet. Good thing there are a bunch of people at smaller places that I enjoy watching and reading content from!
I wouldn't call it stupid at all. I think it's a subjective thing for sure, but calling it stupid isn't the right critical mindset.
Although I would have liked an all new character, I like the fact that it was [SPOILER] Jason Todd, because it gave a great opportunity to see more of the A Death in the Family story and give it a nice twist. [SPOILER ENDS]
All in all I enjoyed it and Arkham Knight as a whole, but again, I think calling ti stupid, eve...
I just want to see a Spider-Man game that doesn't have to coincide with the release window of a movie, or a cartoon, or whatever. I want Marvel to go to a dev and give them the funds, the time, and the resources to make a mature-focused Spidey game.
Like I say in the article, I know it sounds like a pipe dream, but a well done Spider-Man game on the current gen consoles would be a fantastic time and I would get lost in it for sure.
Don't even get me started on how beautiful and bad ass a Sucker Punch Spider-Man game would be! With the Seattle they created for Second Son, I would love to see what they could do in New York. Not to mention, the way that Delsin shoots out of vents on the rooftops, it looks a lot like SPidey slinging around.
I totally agree. I would love to see a darker Spider-Man game. I think a lot of developers see his wise cracking and make the games a bit too cheerful. I believe that with the right group of people, we could see Spidey worked into a world that in more realistic and can still cater to his personality.
Cool that they'll have a big roster, but is that BEFORE or after DLC?
Honestly, I'd advocate that. I've only run across two bugs in the game thus far, but to be on the safe side, I'd hold out for another patch.
It's frustrating, but at least I got past it. I ran into another hiccup today towards the end of the game that sent me back to the PS4 home screen. It was annoying, but the game finally got past it.
@Ocean
Oh I completely agree man. Todd killed it and I know it was his job to convince us to like the app, but I think it'll be pretty fun to have the pup boy on while I play F4!
Same here man. This is the first Tike I've preordered something as it was first announced. Haha. I cannot wait for it though!
Yeah, sorry about the confusion guys. Haha. I guess I didn't get my message across as eloquently as I thought I did. I updated the article to reflect what I meant more directly. :)
