I hear ya man. I'm only 22, but his influence on me and the gaming community has been immense. I love his philosophy and his concentration on FUN.
This was the least we could do at GTU. I know we have been critical of Nintendo in the past, but you never want to see a man who has done so much good for this community go at such a young age.
Like you said, he'll live on in us forever. Those smiles he brought us may have disappeared when we heard of the news of his passing, but I know damn well that when I look back on his life, that smile will come right back.
Aww man. I wanna try Her Story. I've heard it's a pretty cool experience. I gotta get into Ori too. It'll be interesting to see if Bloodborne will break into anyone's GOTY award above Witcher 3 and the like. It seems like it's in people's group, but I wonder if it can win out at the end of the year.
@Relient
That's what's leading for me right now. Although Rocket League is creeping up reeeally fast. Most pure fun I've had in a long time.
Witcher 3
Bloodborne
Arkham Knight (yeah I know boo)
Rocket League
Those are mine! Plus like I say in the article, with MGSV and Fallout 4 coming, I am really digging this year. Haha.
Exactly! Rocket League is turning out to be this year's Resogun.
Yeah. I saw that. That really sucks. My only real gripe with the game was the servers being so shaky. That's the only knock I had on it.
It really is! I hope that it stays this addicting!
I agree. It's nice not to have to worry about a story, or characters, and just kick back and go brain dead for a little bit.
This game is just pure fun. Hoping to spread that message to as many people as possible.
Yep! It's part of the IGC. Totally worth the time to download it. Be aware that some PS4's are getting hot from the console working hard, but in my experience, my PS4 has stayed pretty cool. Nothing to crazy when it comes to temperature.
It's a great game. If the online was working for me, it probably would have gotten a 5. I love the time I've spent with it.
How is it crappy? I didn't criticize them at all in this piece. In fact I describe a Nintendo console that would thrive and many would buy. Just because your insecurity in your gaming decisions makes you lash out for no reason, doesn't mean that the rest of us spew negativity. Please troll, go back under your bridge. For the betterment of n4g and its community, do it quickly.
Oh that's 100% true. I'm not trying to say power is the only thing that matters. I'm just saying that power can make it easier for third parties to develop for and give Nintendo even more resources to use when making their 1st party games.
I'm curious to see what the new Nintendo online service will be when this system launches. Hopefully we at least get things like voice chat and party systems.
Hell yeah. I'm down for this. As a big fan of PayDay, a getaway type of game like this looks awesome.
Honestly, that's why I got rid of my Wii U. I couldn't have it around to just play the first party titles. It was taking up room and I found a home for it where it'll get good use.
I just want that powerful Nintendo console so bad. One that can run multi-plats well and still kick ass when it comes to the first party games. That would be one hell of a console if ya ask me.
I would love to see NIntendo produce a stronger system. Like I say in the piece, seeing a console that could play both Nintendo's great 1st part IP's and the third party titles would be make that machine a huge seller and one I'd pick up at launch.
This. This 100 times over. Haha.
I'd be ok with a conosle that is around the strength of the PS4, has 1TB of storage, and is easy to develop for (for third parties) and I'd buy it for $399. I think that's a reasonable price. I know that some want some crazy innovation, and it would be cool to see what Nintendo would do, but I think I'd have more fun in the long run if they stuck to a traditional console format.
I totally agree! It always seems that Rocksteady puts. A big amount of detail into this sort of stuff too. I doubt many people have really spent the time on combing through it all. Personally, I totally enjoyed it and I hope other people thought it was neat too.
Likable group of guys. I'll be diving into your guys' YT channel. You earned a sub! :)
Like I say in the article, I have criticized him and Nintendo a lot lately and this doesn't change that, but you never want to see someone pass away.
His work on Earthbound, Kirby, and G&S will be remembered by many many people. Even though he's gone, the smiles he brought to us in the past will stay around forever.
