@Starwolf
Thats BS cause I have been buying games from them and I have yet to recieve a game from them past the release date. They usually send the game 1 to 2 days before the release so it gets to your house early and free shipping + no tax cept for some states that make it mandatory.
Its 48 flat so next time be more knoledgable and dont guess
Im 30 hours in and there are definitely bugs galore like how some items refuse to stack on occasion like alcohol or Molotov which take up valuable backpack space and things like D.O.F bugging out and so on but Tech land have truly baffled me in regards to them being able to make a game that has more bugs then Fallout 3 and NV yet have SO MUCH AWESOME and depth and fun lol.
And I swear ive been badly startled by Dead Island more then 15 times so far which is FAR more the both Dead Spac...
I just think IGN wants to ride the "Lets stay in line with the those other scores so we don't get flamed to hell and back like last time" train...
These guys done judge on the basis of how fun it is. They just shit on each individual element, forgetting that the game, even with somewhat weak elements, can turn out to be an awesome piece of work combined.
The first title was perfectly suited for the portable field since it was very intense but was done in short bursts. Not to mention I loved the game. THIS makes me confident to get the second iteration :3
The concept alone is ultra interesting, not to mention the appeal this game would have to certain gamers (The Pokemon Snap Fans)
While I am waiting for my copy of resistance 3 to come in the mail (I loved the first one) I do respect Sony greatly for giving us teh games we want (ala Infamous 2 which ROCKED) but in the mean time, awesome and valiant efforts like this should not be so overlooked due to minor technical hindrances :3
OH MY F$%KING SWEET MOTHER OF GAWD
ITS BULLSHIT LIKE THIS THAT MAKES THE HAPPY, POSITIVE, COMPOSED AND NON-VIOLENT PERSON THAT I AM WANT TO RIP HEADS OFF.
THESE IGNORANT MOTHERF@#ERKS HAVE SOME NERVE TO DEMEAN OUR WAY OF LIFE AT EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY.
THESE GUYS ARE PRETTY MUCH THE REASON MOST OF US WOULD EVER TURN VIOLENT
I still dont really get the logic. If one team has an exceptional player, instead of the game balancing out to prevent total annihilation, kill streaks do the complete opposite. How can that be fun for people?....
Say hello to HOLD THE F$%K UP
4 iterations of the same watered down gameplay with less maps in each subsequent releases facing off a game with the depth and quality of Battlefield 3 (Destruction, weapons, realistic systems like suppression and bullet archs, vehicles and lots of huge maps) and people STILL choose COD? I dont get it. STEP YOUR GAME UP FRAT BOYS :3
Both of these titles deserve Midnight releases since Resistance 3 is going back to the dark and gritty style of R1 which = INSTANT improvement :D
Plus Dead Island is one of the first first person open world zombie survival rpgs with focus on melee combat so pick um both up my fellow gamers, the gaming season has officially begun (Deus Ex being the leader of the pack lol)
PS: Dont forgot to get Warhammer Space Marine guys, the game is SO DAMN METAL <3
For those asking why this game seems good, its not a f$%king high intensity shooter or anything. Anyone who enjoys the Fallout 3 style of exploration, more thought based combat and finding awesome shit will be right at home since this is the focus of the game. Its all about scavenging, surviving teh zombie hordes, decapitating shit, making awesome combo weapons ala Dead Rising 2, plus its difficult (Had it for 2 days and its a dearm come true dispite a few technical issues)
So people,...
I have played and loved all three but the criticism is all from the lack of change but considering its a 10 dollar downloadable game, why change the formula to something that people like me and Nukacola and others enjoy...
PS: Twisted Metal is a day one buy since the polish from the alpha and beta builds that have been shown so far look insane so I cant imagine how great the game will play when it releases. Plus its a sweet departure from the fps madness :3
Although Jaffe sounds like a dick most of the time, he is also one of THE most brilliant and honest guys in the gaming industry today and when something is not right, he wont have a problem shitting on it compared to other devs who are afraid to speak up. I have great respect for a man like him who looks out for the industry and the passion we all share and love :3
@Bumpmapping
I have had the game for 2 days now and the game is a dream come true in terms of an open world zombie survival horror game so cut that shit out. Im a huge PC and PS3 gamer but shitting on every game that's not a Sony title is ignorant.
We want the games, not the brand...
The reviews that go 7 or less shit on the game for a weak narrative when clearly the huge part that matters about this game is the gameplay such as combat, quests and exploration tho there have been mention of a few technical issues which is expected from techland (No offence, they just dont have an amazing track record).
Shitting on one element and lowering the games general score is stupid because Im here to game, not watch a f$%king movie. The Gameplay should thus (In most cases an...
@kamakaz3md
Red Orchestra 2
Hard Reset
The Witcher 2
Crysis 1 and Warhead
Stalker Series
Arma series
and quite a few more but the fact6 of the matter is PC has alot of AMAZING exclusive games (The whole Stalker series was gaming heaven for me personally) and almost every multiplat release looks FAR better when maxed out in settings. Plus almost all PC games when maxed have no screen tearing, beautiful 60 fps frame rates that make some ga...
About damn time but they need to find a way to give these indie games more spotlight like by limiting the amount of releases per week and do what Steam does where they have it on the front page w like 20 other games in that slideshow style thingy :D
It gives free advertising and a chance to every indie so no good ones slip through the cracks :D
And Amazons credit is BS compared to upfront no tax + free shipping + 12 dollars off + Release date arrival with the pissibility of the day after.
